guys i am willing to get the best federal lawyer in Michigan. i need info on a cbp officer Emery , i think she is developing serious personality disorder. can somebody tell me please if she was abused as a child by some female. i am a woman all i wanted to do is to see car show and take pics, so i took a couple tops she thought i am moving to Detroit, but why would i leave Toronto if i have a child in Toronto? Does anybody know if she trains dogs or if she knows the difference between cbp &jail?
How easily does Canadian customs let you in. Do you have to have a passport along with a good reason? Or could you say you're just going there for the heck of it.
The Detroit-Windsor tunnel carries about 10,000 vehicles per day - both directions combined. That's adequate for just a two lane tunnel. The problem is that there are only six lanes at the US Customs checkpoint in Detroit and not all of those will be open. A larger inspection facility would be nice, but they are hemmed in downtown,

@PATRICK10868 Must of been some issue up at the front, from right at the tolls of Windsor to the U.S side I never sit more then 1 hour. Trunk searches usually cause this crap.
@danielgirotto This tunnel was built in like the 20's .. On the U.S side they need to come up with better solutions for people who go regularly . Even if you have a nexus card you still have to wait in that stupid line! Bridge is two lanes and most of the time they will open up one of the other lanes at the end to make it three lanes, and it is redone with more Booths!
Ya I live in Windsor, Ontario and I hardly go over to the states, only go like once every year. But ya thats what basically happens, especially on weekends and holidays, the back up goes all the way up onto the streets in Windsor like in this video, its crazy! Downtown streets would be clogged up!
I went to Windsor Canada to see the Red Bull air show last year and the traffic was just as bad as that when I tried to return. I waited a few hours also before trying to get back. I took the tunnel back. Not fun, to sit in a line forever just to get back to the USA. Next year if they have the air show, I think I'll just buy a ticket on the US side and stay in Detroit.
Yeah good idea. Trust me, you don't want to take the tunnel on events like that. SO if you live in the States, I would just suggest you stay in Detroit to watch the air show, because the Tunnel is just brutal.

Going to Canada if it ever get backed up from beginning to end, it will take about 10 to 15 min. Big difference. I just go at the right times. Ealy in the morning and leave late at night :D

Those lights are used for incident that may happen in the tunnel to direct the flow of trrafic, stalled care.. Light red, cars go in other lane..
