  • Haven't seen one of those in a long time!

  • actually i believe these have a mercedes diesel engines in them. our district, which isnt far from detroit, has thomas freightliner buses running form 1998-2006. the 98-99 buses have cummins engines in them. the 03 and 04s have mercedes diesels in them and i think the 05s do to. the 06s have cats if im not mistaken. the district next to ours uses international buses ( not sure who makes the body ) with the t444e engine in them.

  • I used to drive this bus. Great power for a 7.1 liter diesel. This bus turns so nice I could fit it down tight residential streets day-in and day-out without incident.

  • I drive bus #70-05

  • I feel you on that, transit buses will always be better than school buses anyday

  • Yo baul104, You like school buses too! I really dig those Thomas Saf-T-Liners and the new Thomas buses with the Freightliner hood. Plus I can never forget those Ol Skool Thomas with the Navistar DT-466 and T-444 engines

  • I'm not much of a school bus fanatic though, but I sometimes record them as my hobby...
