Is it just me or does Koppel's hair resemble a helmet? He just needs a face mask attached to that to complete the picture. Belushi was a huge talent. Sad to see him go so young. It was determined that an injection of heroin and cocaine is what killed him. I don't know it it's on youtube but his impersonation of Elizabeth Taylor pigging out on chicken is a must see.

@restlessr84 I think comedy died dec 18, 1997 when chris Farley died. Now snl is not funny any more we will miss you both rip to you all! Hope to see you in heaven when I get there later in life!
I was only 13 when he died and it was crushing. He was my favorite entertainer for about the next 15 years of my life. Does anyone have the tribute video "west heaven" made after his death by his wife Judy? Can you post it? If anyone reads this who knows Judy could you ask her to post the video on youtube? Would love to see the photos and hear the song again.
@TheRealArtzilla just because he was a drug user? I dont even think belushi was a prolific cannabis user anyway........ americans with their silly little rituals....
@SgtTravisBickle Well, the woman they show there is Cathy Smith from Canada, who overdosed Belushi. They were going to throw the book at her until she threatened to also end the careers of Robin Williams and Robert De Niro, who were partying with them there the night before. The cops agreed, and let her fly the coop back to the great white north.
@sylicone221 I don't believe so, in all the books that I have read and interviews ---people talked about all the crap that John did but that was never mentioned. --his wife was pretty much always with him and she seemed to be the only thing that really mattered to him, so I would be inclined to say no.
@yukonjack84 ok, i must ask, did he not have tolerance to heroin? had he shot heroin prior to that night? and why not slam the whole thing at once? a shot every 2 hours? is that too often for speedballing?

I bet John Belushi and Chris Farley are throwing barrels of laughter at audiences up in Heaven. :)
Two comedians, coincidentally at age 33 both died of the same thing, overdose.
Farley idolized Belushi and they both made a name for themselves when they proved big guys can be enormously funny as well.

Belushi was very cleaver and funny on Saturday Night Live. His movies with the exception of the Blues Brothers were a waste.
And the drug lifestyle left over from the 60s was a total waste.
What kind of sane, positive person combines cocaine with heroin?
Young people, stick with beer and maybe some home grown weed. And don't glamorize drug idiots like this one.
