Yes, my ancestors' tribe was a part of mongols... BUT, i think you know that 1/3 of mongols were turkic people. Now it doesn't matter - they are all now in mongolia...

@HanHentii well, the only reason that i can think of is religion... they kept their original religion(shamanism) and i know many of them are buddhists... that's why they kept close to mongolians, seperated them from the other turkic clans...
@HanHentii we still have fully mongolic looks in turkey, dominantly in the turkish groups that are still nomadic and living on mountains...but, the percentage is really low... i still believe turkish race is an intermediate race where asians turns out to be europeans... plus asiatic looks, turkish clans has slavic and germanic clans in it... that's what makes people's mind mixed, the variety of faces:))) the important thing is the culture:)))

Tuvans are far from mongols. History says that tuvans' ancestors are turks. of course nowadays there's an influence of mongolian language, but most words are turkic.
Most Mongols in Mongolia and Russia are Tibetan Budhist. However the Dongxiang Mongols in China, Sart Kalmuks in Kirgizia and Hazara in Afghanistan are Muslim.
TURKIC IS ISLAM. TUVA IS MONGOLS

In 1995 Dalai Lama visited Tuva. Yes, there are some tibetan monks, but most of them are tuvans. Read carefully the history/information of Tuva.
