I will try to answer your question in few words, deneiltopan- we stop believint in talents elegance and mystery or better word in the woman body mystery when we start to see buy albums not for their content but, for the face on cover or for the video of a half naked woman or men for that fact. Today we buy images, not quality, we buy fashion not talent. Don't get me wrong the're some good artists out there but, get absorb by the turmoil that today's artist are in. And by doing that we loose all.

I love this song, which is on my absolute favourite Emmylou Harris album (Roses in the snow). Marie Laforet performed it, too. But I am not sure that here we have a cover. The tempo is quite different. Maybe the french songwriters knew this traditional american song ?
