She was a beautiful person inside and out. Now she is an angel watching over all of us, making sure we feel beautiful inside and out as well. She inspires me to love who I am as a woman and her quoting that "imperfection is beauty" inspired women all over the world to believe that because it is true. Our old soul Marilyn is with the good Lord that sent her here <3

my favorite version of this song. i'd like to find the video that was played on mtv back in the 80s with elton wearing the powdered wig and playing the piano and clips of marilyn being shown

This version from live in Australia in 1987. The original is more up beat with lots of drums .

Terrific job, 5 stars! Bought this album the week it was released. I was 9 and this was my first exposure to Marilyn. She soon became an obsession and I have Elton and Bernie to thank for that. So wonderful to see her represented in this delightful new way, kudos!

This Candle in the wind version is very beautiful. Bernie Taupin part is great, I loved the lyrics showing up.
