this fellow sounds American btw most africans at roppongi kosaten have j spouse or permanent resident visas the police told me; they are allowed to walk and talk to passersby but touching is illegal, in reality even the courts cannot order police to open their files, they can break their own laws to convict whomever they want or protect whomever they want, I just finished 6 years in court vs the gov't, been living here 40, used to work with them and they still fucked me!

May the foreign devil rot in jail. Another typical example of a foreigner in another country (that makes one a foreigner) and trying to behave rudely as if they were in their own country. Travel to another country? Then respect the culture. If you are not willing to do this, then stay home.
No point explaining a point to the Japanese cops just do as they say and get it over with. I know it might be very annoying but theres nothing you can do about it.
@poltango well, they are more civilised than american cops that only likes to shoot at people unecessary. japanese cops are waaayy better than US cops
I would just like to say that the Japanese police can be an extreme nuisance to any foreign visitor. When I lived in Japan for a year I was very well behaved, had a good job, and contributed to the country in a positive manner, which you are supposed to do on a working visa. However, I was stopped by the police and questioned frequently for NO reason. After some time I would become pretty angry but I never lashed out HOWEVER I could see why someone with more of a temper would lash out.
We must expatriate all the Baka-Gijins, stupid foreigners, beer-guzzling hooligans, trailer trash and some rednecks who are grossly over-weight from Tokyo to their provincial home States.

@LaoNachoCabrera, your video title is misleading. I don't see police brutality or the suspect trying to make a point in a civilized manner. Small world, this man threatened me on the street, in view of two officers, one night when I visited Roppongi last Christmas. He is stupid and violent and he got what he deserved. Hopefully he was deported when they realized he had been working for that shady night club without a visa.
You know fuck the police, but this is japan very peaceful country. As much as I hate police this is unacceptable behavior. But, still die pigs die!!!! :)
Oh man, this is so embarrassing. Yet another idiot made american look worse. That black guy was clearly disrespecting the Japanese police or perhaps Japan. Would he done this in the U.S.? What the hell is this guy doing in japan? Did he think it was OK to bring the hood to the Japanese? This is why people hate Americans all over the world, its always just a few arrogant pricks that bring their own bad habits to another country and tarnish the image of Americans everywhere. Most likely the next time these cops see an African American they will remember this guy, it's pretty sad.
@macrosspilot "I would like to apologize to the Japanese on behalf of all the gaijin that aren't arrogant for the actions of this man. It was unnacceptable behavior that he was showing which has put me to shame on my own nationality, as well as my own ethnicity. I Really do love Japan, the Japanese, and everything about that country; thus, I would never disrespect anyone there if I would go to Japan. Thank you."
What makes you think this guy even did anything wrong?? Ever been to Japan before? Police here have a bad habit of harassing foreigners, stopping people for no reason and detaining them. How is he "bringing the hood" to Japan?
@xkousetsu As for "Bringing the Hood to japan", I apologize if anyone was offended by that quote; it was not meant to be a scornful remark towards African Americans or people who live in impoverished areas. This man simply behaved in a unacceptable manner and was apprehended due to his belligerence. In any country, raising your voice to a law enforcement official can be viewed as belligerence. It was not that he did anything wrong, but that he handled the situation wrong and made things worse.

First of all, you don't know why he was apprehended. As for being belligerent, I only see him trying to explain his point. What would you do if Japanese police stopped you for no reason, and all 15 of them started putting their hands on you without any clear explanation? Why did they even need to touch him at all??
@xkousetsu I understand your initiative against police injustice in Tokyo, I also aware from watching this video that a certain level of English competency is not present among these police officers which is why the man kept explaining his point over and over again. It sounded like he was robbed or maybe he was ripped off by someone, I'm sure he didn't commit a crime. However, he did commit a crime by urinating at the officer's feet and also by resisting arrest which compromised him even more.

I'm not saying the police are right because in most cases they are not fair in their judgement. As a foreigner though, he acts as an ambassador for his country, whether he was equipped to deal with the culture is entirely his business, However it does reflect how people view foreigners in their society. All I am saying is that he could have handled it better if had learned Japanese and studied the culture before coming. I'm not saying he didn't, but it's clearly not present here.

@macrosspilot i live in japan right now...(navy) and i assure you the cops are used to drama in roppongi, japanese, nigerian, hispanic, russian.... all kinds of nationalities. Roppongi is the butthole of Tokyo...
You are very well right, he may not be an American as someone else on the posts put "Roppongi is full of Nigerians who earn a living pretending to be Americans". The point that I was trying to make is that this type of behavior is not progressive towards positive foreign relations, which is what furthers more harassment towards foreigners from the local police. And if he's just putting on the American persona to make money I doubt the police will truly know the difference.
I've lived in the US my whole life and never once met a bad cop, just seen the fucked up ones on youtube. Don't make stupid comments, "If this was America he would have hurp derp hurp" just shut the fuck up already. Unless you've personally been beaten by the police then just stop making shit up you stupid rednecks.
I hate Roppongi. Too many disrespectful Americans who give the rest of us gaikokujin a bad name... But pissing on a cop regardless of what country is priceless!! =D
@GerudoUK White people get their asses handed to them in osaka by the police and the local citizens. I love seeing drunk white guys get beat up by japanese local men.
Took 15 to take him down? Umm If there was only 1 japanese cop and they wanted him on the ground he would of been down in a heartbeat. Cops in japanese actually have patience and are disciplined more so than american cops.
Normally I'd condemn this guy for such disgusting behavior, but there's one scenario in which I could understand. Supposedly the police have been singling out foreign-looking people in Roppongi for drug tests and demanding urine samples. If that's what they wanted from this guy, and he said, 'OK, here's your sample right here!', I'd applaud him for standing up to abuse of authority!
But I can't make out much of what's being said, and don't know why so many cops are on him to start. Anyone know?
all africans in roppongi, they love to blend as a american,is true.!! and about the accent, anybody who watch hollywood movies can get that.,also hip hop music,is not rocket sciences
this fellow sounds American btw most africans at roppongi kosaten have j spouse or permanent resident visas the police told me; they are allowed to walk and talk to passersby but touching is illegal, in reality even the courts cannot order police to open their files, they can break their own laws to convict whomever they want or protect whomever they want, I just finished 6 years in court vs the gov't, been living here 40, used to work with them and they still fucked me!
