TheFunnybone - you're right, the drummer is kickin' ass. One of the best rock and roll drum songs ever. At first I thought Hal Blaine for sure, because of the style and rhythm. But, I‘ve read that it was Frank Pagano on drums. Whoever did it he was great. Plus another, Leslie Gore-Quincy Jones combo. He wasn't Lesley's to lose. Later on in the saga, Lesley decides to taunt Johnny by kissing "some other guy". Johnny jumps up and hits the guy. This poor guy was just minding his own business.
