It can't just be for kids or it will turn out to be something like "Spy Kids 4" and who wants that? Next, the sexual humor is very mild and the children should not be able to pick it up. This movie is rated PG while the original is rated G (the original had none of this humor). You can even catch shows like "Spongebob" that throw in some mild sexual humor such as this.

both the movies were terrible adaptations of the book. The first film didnt follow the story at all - no wonder roald dahl was infuriated by it. The only good thing about it was Gene Wilder, and he could have been even better if he was given the actual storyline from the book. The new film followed the storyline slightly better but Johnny Depp was the worst adaptation of a character I have ever seen. The whole time he just reminded me of michael jackson. He didnt fit Dahl's description AT ALL
