why are putting a t76 turbo ???? isnt the whipple fast enought

lol nope. the 76 didn't work out. with a BW S380 is made over 100 hp more at the same boost.

this is not my truck but a friend of mines. I put a turbo on mine and have already been faster on less boost than it went with a 3.4

What suspention work is done to those trucks? mainly im looking for the spec on the lowering kits. they look really sick! keep it up guys!

@whitroc01 this one has hotchkis leaf springs on the back and hotchkis coil springs in the front. and hotchkis sways all around

True enough. But honestly for a street driven vehicle I think a Whipple chargers instant anywhere torque is a very desirable trait.

why would you go with a turbo? supercharger is instant torque, Turbo = Lag

@jmabrao like said with the proper set up you can get rid of about 95% of the lag.... i prefer the whipple over turbo.... i'll leave my diesel for turbo power

@jmabrao yea but superchargers also have a parasitic effect on the engine, meaning it requires some of the engines power to run itself, turbos do not have this effect so some might think they are more efficient, plus you can get higher boost from a turbo. it all really depends how the builder weighs out the pros and cons.
