  • You do good work! I enjoy that you are not afraid of some work to have a good time. God put us on this earth to enjoy it. You are truly doing so. Thank you for taking me along for the ride.

  • what is your biggest nugget?

  • i can make your bed rock.

  • @mattyisbest No you can't...

  • @Propanner i can :)

  • @mattyisbest NAYYYY......

  • is this creek with the flood?

  • @jessgo33 Yep all 3 after flood vids are same creek.

  • Not a bad little haul. They'll look nice in a glass vial :-) Some days here in Australia we come home with little more than one tiny flake, and other days some nice nuggets. But that's prospecting for you. If it was easy everyone would be doing it!

  • That is a real nice days work! I think your worst day would be better than my best day's panning lol.

I'll share this with you too, it's something I always tell the people I take out prospecting with me also: A bad day's panning beats a good day's work anytime!

Take it easy, looking forward to next years videos already!

Best of luck to you guys.

  • Thank you.

  • did you try and brake the piece of bedrock away which shows up in the video @ 5.02? I'm sure it would have been worth it to try and brake that piece off which I could see above the sloping part. Cheers and keep it up

  • Yep I did, a few specs is all that came out of it.

  • ok, better luck next time.

  • Looks like your day wasn't bad at all. I've been doing some active panning and often did a whole day with just a few flakes found. But recently I have been lucky. Panned some nice pieces half the size of a dime. It was right on the bed rock as I broke some chunks off and clean it real good. Just love panning!

It was a great video to watch. Tks guys

  • Can you look in any stream/lake for gold?

  • Best place to start is in an area where gold has been found before. If its a major stream, say 50 feet wide or more, start testing the small creeks that enter the larger stream, Thats where alot of your gold will be coming from.

  • thanks for your reply. i hear very little about the proplem of over burden removal . the procedure; depth; and how to reconize bed rock vs over burden. could you comment

  • I preffer looking for exposed bedrock.

If your digging overburden, well thats "maybe" prospecting..."maybe" you'll find gold, "maybe" you wont.

Me and Jason are "lazy" prospectors. We let the? creek do the work for us.

  • Awsome video, I hope you find a big nugget, you seem to be looking in all the right spots in the bed rock and next to cortz rock. nice gold.. thanks for posting.

  • how do you know your bed rock?

  • Not sure what you mean?

  • looks like a good day

  • waited all day for this video. at least you found something. sure beats a skunk. keep up the good work guys.
