I've had my tx2z for 2 weeks now and love it. Balanced power setting I'm getting over 4 hrs of run time with continuous note taking on the 8 cell battery in windows 7 beta. About 72% on the screen brightness. I bought a powerpad 95 WH external battery which provides me another 5+hrs of runtime. Being extremely conservative I could probably get over 12 hrs continuous use from both battery packs. Great machine. Oh and mine is the ZM-85 processor with 4gig ram and 320gig hdd with wireless N on.

The touch screen is made to be used in tablet mode not when your in regular laptop mode.

True. But I have a TX2000 and it just feels awkward trying to touch the screen in laptop mode or writing on it. It works really well in tablet mode though, while it will fatigue your arm if your holding for more than a few minutes it feels really comfortable and natural while your writing on it or reading something off of it.

ive been looking for an unboxing video for ages! Tx2 is released in January in the UK, and im defo going to jump on the bandwaggon onec its advance orders are announced. Can you do a run down over a few videos if possible, including, gfx when playing games, screen, pen with n-trig for inking. also heard about issues with the screen in tablet mode, whilst in portrait mode has screen flexing becuase of hinges not alligned right, let us know if this occurs.
