Looks like your having a bit of fun there Chuck. lol
I know Pergo looks good, is easy to install, and is durable but personally I like solid wood flooring or ceramic tiles. A lot of folks like it (and I am not putting it down in anyway) just not for me. :D
Hum... maybe you can teach those cats to snap the pieces in place as you cut em. :D
Looks like ya need to touch up those walls with a coat of paint then it will be perfect, something to think about before moving the furniture back in there... I could see allot of dark scaff's etc... You could paint that room in a matter of an hour or two and for that its worth doing for your brand new floor... Great job...
@suburbanryder - You are doing a great job, it looks really nice. Sometimes it helps to have others give advice, once me and a frind put a lift kit on his new 4 x 4 truck, we were working in his garage and when we were done we realized the truck was now to tall to drive out of the garage...lol... Point being it would have been nice to have another set of eyes there to say "Hey, wont that be to high to get it out of the garage?"... I am waiting for your next video...
@suburbanryder Wow! You've got a full house there. We are down to two cats now. We lost Dusty last winter. Dusty was adopted from the Humane Soc. Sandy is from a local area farm, and Shadow's mom was half feral. She had her kittens and lived under the front porch of this old woman's house on the edge of town. The old woman feed them milk daily. We got Shadow when he was just 4 weeks old. (far too young)
Great job Chuck...looking good.

@RC62 Belive me if I had the money and energy I would do full oak panels myself Rob.
But this is within my budget and ability to get done on time.

Looks very good! Well done. The cats always like to see humans working. It makes them feel superior I think.

@1954shadow I could do the stick of dynamite in the can of paint trick. Works on cartoon shows.

@BeePeeOilDisaster That is the next project for that room.
You probably could see where I was using dry wall mud below the window.
I changed it out for a new size energy efficient one.

Looks great Chuck! I never quite figured you to be a fellow cat person. Always good to have helpers. LOL TC bro.

@p0kerp1aya If I could live on a small farm I would have lots more than four cats.
I also have two dogs. A Papillon and a Collie / Aussie Shepherd mix.
All my animals are rescue animals.

@ToastToGo It is a bit more expensive than tile but much better looking. I wish I had the money to do it in some other rooms too.

I love Pergo.

@jasongiddensviper478 Some people say the store brand is just as good but I didn't want to take the chance.
I went to the Pergo class years ago for the glue together kind.
I think it is a premium product that is worth it to me.
suburbanryder 9 months ago
@jasongiddensviper478 "PERGO," the adult version of "LEGO."

@DarkFlight600 For the midwest they recommended 72 hours to let it sit in the room before installing.
