Hi great vid! I just have a question. How sensitive is the laser, really? I mean I switched my spindle with one from a cdplayer. I guess I must've bended it just a little, little bit. Cause the disc isn't spinning correctly at the same level. There's a tiny bit of wobbling, but my ps1 has trouble reading the disc, do you think this is what causes the problem or do you think it's the laser lens itself? I'm getting really worried, I screwed up a new laser I bought, I broke the spindle.
@DisneyTLK110 hi, thanks for the comment. Well I don't know much about lasers at all, but you might want to check that the spindle is far enough down the axle. After I made this video I thought that actually there is a little too much clearance... we also had a game load wrong a couple times... so by gentle levering I pushed the spindle on a little further which improved matters. Maybe try that. You want to be as far on as you can without it binding.
