I usually defend bands that people deem "un-listenable"....but these guys fucking suck. It's the same song throughout the whole album it sounds like. Less than 10 second songs to just hit drums, scream pointless crap in the mic, and strum carelessly.

I'm sorry, but whoever thinks that this music is good needs to get their head checked.

It isn't supposed to sound good in the sense that it's anti-music. But for people who actually do enjoy the sound of noise music like I do, it is one of their best recording since it is extremely noisy.

I can understand if you like this and I'm usually a fan of noisy stuff aswell, but this sounds just like a lame and meaningless copy of Scum and fails to reach only half of the density that Naked City, The Locust or Antigama have... well I like Sore Throat's other stuff such as that album with the impaled DRI-dude on the cover (forgot the name) but this is just noise and not in a very good way.

Not really, just a very diverse taste of music. You know what my favorite thing to listen to of all time is? Antonio Vivaldi. That's right, I like classical music. Just because I can worship sore throat, seven minutes of nausea, and countless other noise bands doesn't mean I don't have an ear for music - which I do, seeing as I'm a concert cellist.

yeah but its fun to listen to lol. and bands like this were way ahead of their time. america was still bitching about twisted sister when grindcore blew up. also the thing about noisegrind is that its uber fun to actually make. im doing a pornogrind/crust-noise crossover sort of thing with my friend and its fun to just get baked and think of fucked up lyrics while recording guitar tracks over an improv drum track. were getting more structured like gut and CABT but were keeping some noise element

I wouldn't say MOST extreme ever, but it's without a doubt a noisecore classic! also, Sore Throat were so fucking underrated back in the day compared to bands like Napalm death, Carcass, Terrorizer, etc. Maybe because they weren't "grindcore" but blew minds just as well as SCUM era Napalm and early Godflesh and carcass

It makes Napalm Death seem soft in comparison. Back then there wasn't really anything noisier than this, in terms of punk and hardcore. It was essentially early grindcore with little to no metal influence. Some interesting ideas throughout.
