Did you use Custom Firmware before you tested this official firmware?

And if you did use custom firmware (CFW) and now can't play games from the memory stick, the error is that you now have Sony's original firmware, the problem should be fixed by if you downgrade the PSP and update to Custom Firmware like 3.90 M33 ;)

Anz i cant use the network update option. as i cant get online with my psp due to the fact i dont have wi-fi there for i have to rely on good people to post me reliable links so i can dl the updates & then transfer them to my memory card & update it that way.
