My last straight razor shave at a barber's, there was no polishing. In fact, I've never been "polished." However, they used a special coconut lotion that left my face extremely satisfied. :D

If you go to most any Middle Eastern country, probably 80% or more of the male population smokes. And it's not like here where there's no smoking inside workplaces and buildings and such. It's just the way it is, you'd probably be hard pressed to find a barber who doesn't smoke.

it's called threading I think, they twist to pieces of string together and then the part where they meet moves across the face and catches the little tiny hairs you can't see and pulls them out very quickly. I think it's a very popular hair removal method in places like the Middle East or India and has grown in popularity in the West especially for stuff like girls doing their eyebrows and such.

Anyways he'd get a nice shave like this one, maybe a haircut, and shampoo. Than he'd go back to his Hotel room, when his GIRLFRIEND would wake up. She'd see how nice, and radiant he would look
