@GothMC A while back when Youtube was still owned by Youtube, you could sign up for a "director" account which allows 59:59 of footage. This was only available for a short time and I do believe you can still get this but you probably have to have a valid reason now-a-days. Who knows? It's what I made my account under but I haven't tested the length I can upload.

suggestion: instead of doing the wohle chroma keyer thing, just right click on the explosion footage in the project media, go to properties and change the alpha channel from "none" to "straight (unmatted)".

Sony vegas does not play .mov, you must convert your files.

There are certain files that do not work on sony vegas.

Dont start installing codecs etc. Here is your solution.

Free program format factory, NB NB, when installing the program it takes you to the install adware page, unclick all on that page and you will not install any adware

I like saving my files to mpeg2.

@luukvideo Hi Luukvideo, I have installed quicktime twice and both times it did not change the fact that Sony Vegas does not read .mov files. Unless there is something else I must do after installing quicktime that you are not telling me.

How do you set sony vegas to default settings?

Go to options and those preferences and the click "Default all" then click apply then i think you reset all the settings to default. Im not sure but think you do it in that way.
