Um, yeah. I hate to tell you this, but six weeks old is plenty old enough to take a puppy from its mother. I mean yeah, it's a bit early. Most people wait until eight-ten weeks, but still.

The puppy was renamed Holly Noelle because it is hard to train a dog with a "no" already in their name. We lost my father about a month after this was taken. He went home to be with Jesus. Buy Holly is a great comfort to Mom!

You only have until 16 weeks of age until that window closes. 6 weeks is the earliest it would be "okay" to let a puppy leave the litter. Source: Veterinary student.
