  • Travel

  • It's not a travel. To everyone thinking his left foot is the pivot foot is wrong! The pivot foot is the foot that coincides when you GATHER the ball. Example is the euro step, wherein you take two steps sideways after you GATHER the ball. Kobe gathers the ball as he's going between the two defenders, so his right foot, the foot that's stepping between the two defenders is the pivot foot.

  • thats a huge first step !

but hes not pulling a lebron ..

  • For anyone that thinks this is a travel look at: Miami Heat - L.A. Lakers March-10-2011 LeBron Spin Move, then come back here and apologize.

  • Travel, he get up the pivot foot so its travel!

  • It's not a travel, he took two steps, so everyone who said he traveled stfu...

  • double travel. Start and finition....

  • lebron fag

  • man i am one of the biggest laker haters in the world, but kobe bryant is a beast

  • People who don't know you can take two steps like that don't know basketball.

  • @j03y2fly You can't take 2 steps once you already establish a pivot foot. I'm 14 and I know the rules better than you.

  • @musiqman0709 You're not watching what Kobe does in this video. His first step is when he has his back against his defender, his second step is when he starts to spin around the defender; however, when you see a third step it isn't considered a step unless you pick up your foot after the second step, therefore his established pivot foot is his second step. If you jump with your second step it's not a travel, which is what you see in this video. Keep reading the rules Mr. 14 year old.

  • @j03y2fly When he turns with his back toward the defender, he establishes his pivot foot (left). He then spins and picks up his left foot to take the teardrop shot, which is traveling.

  • @musiqman0709 When he turns that's his first step...you don't have to drive straight for the two-step rule to come into play. Ever seen a euro step? This is the same concept except he starts his first step with a spin. If he wasn't driving to the rim, his first stop after dribbling would be his pivot, but that isn't the case.

  • @j03y2fly This isn't a euro step though. This is a spin move which leads into a travel. Once he spins he uses his left foot to turn 180 degrees and picks up his left foot again to step forward and take the shot.

  • That's not a travel assholes.

  • he walked

  • my goodnes my goodnes my goodnes

  • Kobe's so good even the shot-clock changes to let the crowd know who made it!

  • thats two steps, first step was a gather step after a spin

  • who cares if this is a travel or not? its a sick move and the basket counted.period.

  • That aint no travel, that was2 steps... @Slash417 your exactly right, LEBRON JAMES DOES TRAVEL MORE THAN KOBE... I called your sarcasm.

  • thats no travel

  • ATTENTION EVERYONE: THIS IS NOT A TRAVEL.

DRIBBLE, PICKS UP DRIBBLE AS HE DOES THE SPIN MOVE AND AS HE DOES IT HIS RIGHT FOOT IS HIS PIVOT AND AFTER THAT HE IS ALLOWED ONE STEP AND HE DOES SO WITH HIS LEFT FOOT. READ THE RULEBOOK

  • How the fk did he travel he still had the ball dribbling then spun and he used his right foot to pivot obviously you ppl that said he traveled dont know shit about basketball

  • He traveled. Why didn't they call that?

  • @doomheart1234 He did not travel, check his footwork again

  • triple teamed in the last minute of the 4th with the game on the line? no problem for number 24...great shot by kobe

  • I dont think Wade's cocky. Kobe is cocky but He has every right to be he's the best player since Jordan. Fuck all the hype around these other players. oh yea and Kobe hardly ever Travels . He has amazing footwork

  • When Jordan goes out and gets 69 points he is a legend but when Kobe get's 81, he is a greedy bastard? somebody explain this logic to me please.

  • @2rok334 mmhmm

  • Wade is nothing in front of Kobe.

  • LOL kobe>wade in terms of cockyness are you serious?kobe sucks. sup.

  • Its like a pivot....

  • 1. Everybody who sais its a travel is a fucking doosh.

    2. How the fuck can Wade be cocky? He even won an award for best father of the year. Dumbasses

  • @myar4 wtf does him winning best father of the year have to do with cockyness? you sir, are the dumbass.

  • @myar4 how are you gonna call others dumbasses when you can't even spell "douche"?

  • it wasnt even a travel.

  • @TeshawndaKing i kno right!! he planted his left foot first and then he stopped dribbling!!

  • Kobe get tripple teamed and makes the shot!

    Amazing!

But he doesnt take it to the rim as often as he did it yet.

  • LOVE IT......but it would be perfect if he didn't make 3-4 steps before he dribble.

  • Travel

  • great time killer for final seconds

  • so sloppy....

  • and look at the clock...money time and this kind of move SICK

  • @YN4LMF most players cant even pull that off and kobe does it in the last minute of a close game. dudes flat out amazing

  • the thing about this is that he was guarded by three fucking ppl

  • Mr. 4th Qtr.

  • 4 nba2k10 trailer,Kobe does a spin move vs the Clippers, but its dif

  • as a fan of everything los angles.. i feel bad for the clippers

  • d-wade does this better faster n with more grace

  • He's also 6'4", whole Kobe is 6'7". That might make a slight difference, no?

  • still doesnt change the fact ..besides jordan is around the same height and had speed and grace...lebron is another one that doesnt have that grace hes all power..style goes a long way ..and wade looks slick out there all these other guys look sloppy

  • wade is also a small guy aside from being shorter

  • @Rasha5377 kobe's 6'6 bro

  • @Rasha5377 no

  • @Rasha5377

    Lol Kobe is NOT 6"7.

His fucking listed height is 6 foot 6, so he's about 6 foot 4.5 without sneakers

  • @madhazzer He meant that Kobe was 6"4 and LeBron was 6"7. Hop off your troll wagon.

  • @j03y2fly not trying to troll but lebron is 6'7 but kobes 6'6.

  • @Whit3B0ySwagg It says Lebron is 6'8 on nba dot com and you're right Kobe is 6'6 but I was just saying that the other guy meant.

  • @madhazzer basketball shoes dont add an inch and a half...

  • his left foot was on the ground before he picked the ball up so that doesnt count as a step

i know it looked like a travel but it aint

  • initially it looked like a travel but after some stop starting you can see that it's not. it looks like he shuffles his original pivot foot (left foot) but he doesn't. as kobe would say, "pusi kurac!"

  • in europe his first step would be a travel but the spin is absolutly clean

  • No travel. It's idiotic how people who are new to basketball call this travelling.

  • no travel...its just kobe's too good that he tricks your eyes ahhah

  • In the NBA a two count is not traveling. Kobe did a two count therefore NO traveling. Look it up in the NBA rules.

  • If thats a travel, can someone please upload a video of a spin move without a travel please?.

  • i dont get why dumbass ppl call this a travel common its not even close to a freaking travel, and its probably the same idiots who defend lebron james when he does travel

  • yea lebron james travels much more often than kobe

  • They bolth travel alot. I dont know how that can be allowed. its idiotic.

  • @Slash417 it is not traveling.... he planted his left foot first and then stopped dribbling, then he took his two steps..

  • @Slash417 he does

  • @Slash417 so ur acknowledging that it's alright to travel? lol what a joke

  • @Slash417 Kobe rarely travels because he has such great footwork

  • Comment removed

  • its not a travel..do u play basketball..

  • but after the pivot they take a step then take two and then three big deal if it was a travel or not it wasnt called a travel so that means its not

  • lol, there not travels - retard

dont try to talk about something u obviously know nothing about

  • he planted his foot spun planted again and took another step thats three big deal nobody fucking called it - retard dont talk about something YOU obviously know nothing about

  • ok lets be honest, that will never be a travel in the NBA, and who would watch the NBA if that was a travel, all the exciting plays involve traveling in some way, dont hate and appreciate that was a great move

  • good D from shaq

  • T-R-A-V-E-L!!!!! that is the same thing wade does(im a wade fan) it looks good in fast motion but when it gets broken down its clearly a travel

  • OMG stop saying its a fkin travel he didnt travel and neither did wade BECAUSE THE PIVOT FOOT IS NOT A STEP, I REPEAT THE PIVOT FOOT IS NOT A STEP

  • i love these little videos

  • basketball is so easy i could beat u all with one hand my eyes closed one leg a burger in my mouth and wearing a sombrero

  • I see these videos at least 100 times a day or more, no joke, I'm a kobe feen and the number 1 kobe Fan!!!!!!!

  • thats not a travel u dumbasses

  • travel lol

  • Travel not called

  • 2 1/2 steps. One step to do the spin and then another step, then a jump.

  • SHUT THE FUCK UP NOBODY CARES!!

  • demek420, read the last sentence: I told "KOBE MVP..." so official rules basketball are different from nba athletics"...learn to read and don't insult

  • According the official basketball rules, kobe travel here. He stop to playball when the pivot is the left foot, then he take one step with right foot (regular until here), and he travel when he lift up the pivot and get back it on ground to shoot. Traveling for rules, but not for nba. However, Kobe MVP

  • Appreciate Kobe Bryant, for there won't be another superathlete like him. A Dominant Perimeter scorer. The will to win. The records broken. The sexual assault case. To the 81 point game. From 8 to 24. The becoming of the old and wise. The humble beggining. To getting choked by Raja Bell. To Bynum To Gasol To Odom. The road to the Championship now.

  • if not for 23, 24 would not exist

  • Actually if there was no 23... It would be 20 21 22 1/2 24 1/2 25 26 27... Even though I don't like kobe.

  • if not for George bush iraq war would not exist

  • if not for bill gates microsoft would not exsit

  • if not for jordan kobe wouldnt exist? explain please...

  • i wish there was never any jordan, so ppl can appreciate what we have in kobe bryant

  • If not for Jordan, Kobe would not exist.

  • thi9s is no travel. wade travels because he takes an extra step with the right foot. if you notice kobe never comes down with the right foot he goes up off of his left. thats the difference

  • wade travels because he moves his pivot foot, kobe does not

  • It may be travel but its tactics son. He knows hes too fast to get noticed for a travel and he uses it to his advantage.

  • lol wade does this same move and u ppl says he travels! but when kobe does it NOOO its LEGAL!!

  • how do you do a legal spin move?

  • with a travel

  • lol so true

  • kobe is like the only player who knows how to do a legall spin move

  • lol he got like triple teamed

    XD

  • nice shot.. Wades got nothing on KOBE. I hate Wade...hes too cocky and hes not better than kobe. He has potential and talent.... BUT HES NOT BETTER THAN KOBE. For all you people out there who hate kobe.. u have to admit one thing....hes a great player..

  • how can you say hes to cocky??? hes one of the most modest players in the nba. kobe hes the cocky one. also wade likes passing:)

  • @brownpakipimp Kobe's better than Wade but Wade isn't cocky, Kobe is cocky, he's got the same swag as MJ. Wade seems pretty humble.

  • @EliasJordan3

    Kobe's never better than Wade

    Remember ?

    Wade '06.

The first person to help Heat win their first ring ? Yeah don't think so.

Kobe had a better help than Wade.

  • @naruxhinatreyy Well I don't think Kobe has had so much help from the refs in the finals, Wade averaged over 16 free throws per game in the finals. In two games he got over 20 free throws. Kobe averaged 8.5 free throws in the 2010 finals, which was against Boston, a very physical team.

  • @brownpakipimp cocky? how is wade cocky? the only thing kobe does is be cocky after he makes an amazing play. Why do you think everyone appreciated MJ for playing while the no one appreciated Kobe? Talk about Kobe, hes the villain in philadelphia

  • @brownpakipimp Wade's cocky? gtfo..

  • @teeooamamii

haha does he not go on the announcer's table and taunt? i'm not sure if that's cocky, but close to it.

  • @brownpakipimp Wade is way better than kobe when they face each other its the truth kid but I like kobe too He is my inspiration! He is very smart player

  • @YoungJTimothyDuece sike never in life will wade ever be in kobes league both in there primes its no contest

  • @brownpakipimp Kobe more cocky than D Wade before he even got to the league he thought he was the best while on the other hand D wade is FAR better but hes just under looked.

  • @brownpakipimp wade cocky?, you're mistakened , wade has non stop donated millions to charity helped disabled children and funded schools!

  • @KilledInAsia lol that has nothing to do with cockiness. that could easily be a facade, and i'd love to see an article of him actually donating "millions" to charities

  • @KilledInAsia Your point makes no sense... you can still be cocky and donate money

  • @brownpakipimp I have to admit kobe is a cry baby.

  • @WwJTBwW so is almost every nba player that does not have a call go their way

  • @brownpakipimp how the fuck is d-wade cocky?

  • @brownpakipimp and you have to admit D Wade also is a great player. Certainly not as good as kobe but still a great player.

  • wow not a travel

d-wade needs to learn how to do a spin-move.
