i met mani in about 1999 when he was meant to be dj ing at the kitchen club in edinburgh before it burned down obviously, i said to him - the stone roses are fucking shit hot man - and he replied - no fucking primal scream are better, and to my own astonishment being out ma head said - nae i dont think so m8 and walked away, this is a member of my fave band ever the roses and im telling him lol!!! even though i was right its a funny thing to tell people,wonder if he really believes that still???
