I am not trying to be combative, but just help me understand.. If you believe animals are all equally valuable and worth the same as humans, wouldn't killing 1 whale to produce the same meat as 1000 cows be less of a tragedy? If not, what is it that makes a whale more valuable than a cow? Is it that it is larger? Or what is it that these people really think about this kind of issue? Thanks.

sweetsntreats, you obviously dont know how hard it is to be a conservationist in this society, I dare say it takes a lot more courage and guts than you have. Just because something tastes good, doesnt mean it should be accepted. If everyone did what felt good or tasted good, this world would be even WORSE than it is today, and that's pretty bad. I applaud sea shepherds, and all the groups that work to save these beautiful animals from people like you.

In 1994, IWC declared to Norwegian Agency that the IWC and all its member nations ardently condemn Sea Shepherd's acts as TERRORISM.
This time the 2 terrorists damaged the propeller of the Japanese vessel and threw acid liquid before illegally boarding.
The terrorism must not be admitted at any circumstances.

I wish one of the Sea Shepherd crew had filmed the sabotage of that Icelandic whale processing plant. That must've been awesome to watch.
