Low Whistle Tribute to Bernard Overton (inventor of modern Low Whistle)

Hi I have Overton whistles on my vids.

I have a photo taken with Bernard two weeks before his death of me collecting a new whistle off him at his home, I do treasure that photo. RIP Bernard.

Very amazing! So I took order for for low whistle in D by Colin Goldie. Can Iask to you - how you can change your sound for more deep more reverb? Are you using the program? Or Its original sound? Hey man its me, we've been talking on and off for awhile now, i finally got my Lod 3 Chieftan, and i was wondering if you could maybe try and remember how to play this and give me the simple tab for it like, 6 hole 5 hole 4 hole 6 hole 3 hole etc.

i'm having such a hard time deciding between overton and chieftain right now. i'll eventually get both in different keys, but I don't know which to go for first.

I have both in same key...Overton is harder to play, but have a greater sound...

Thank you...The Susato is a great whistle, but is made from plastic...I'm using in this video an Overtone Low D, made from aluminium...With a little reverb...

The only asset of Susatos is the low cost...

na, they produce a nice drain-pipey sort of sound.

cant get that hollow throat like sound out of much else.

and this is coming from someone who owns lots of different whistles.

If you need whistles in other weird keys and you don't have much money, Susatos are your first option.

And I forgot to mention I used to know him in the 80's through Earlsdon Morris, I had one of his whistles, but it was stolen some time ago alas. I have a couple of generic copies now an Alba low D and an unamed Brass D which is more bombproof than even aluminium.

I always wanted to know the Alba, but I live in Brazil, and it's very hard to buy a low from here...
