I had just played two mandolin tunes and my hands were numb and painfull. I could barely feel the fingers I was picking with. I barely made it. I sped up the tune and gave it kind of a bounce. The young lady is a saint for putting up with me. She has one the most remarkable voices I have EVER heard in my life.
i guess the reason i said that before you fixed your typo it was only listed as kansas and it said 1972 so i was interested in seeing an earlier version i never said anything about the quality of the song.actually good in my opinon nice tone on the violin good singer and nice harmony
i had no idea kansas has a girl singer that is amazing her name is steve?the drum set is a pdp i thought dw made those maybe in the late 90's wow 1972 was a great time to be alive with futuristic drumsets and bottled water thats nuts
It's amazing how people talk smack about things they know nothing about. Bottled water has been around for a long time. Granted it wasn't as popular in the 70s but it was still around. In 1976 300 thousand gallons of bottled water was consumed compared to 3.4 million in 1997. And the video's information explains who is playing and on another video it says when, 2004. The 1972 was a typo and the 1978 refers to when the song was originally written/recorded. Try enjoying it for what it is.
obviously when i wrote this 9 months ago the heading said kansas 1972 and that's is all it said.i can read try to take the pills the doctor prescribed it might calm you down a bit
I was very calm when I replied to your comment. I was just stating a fact about bottled water being around in the 70s and my opinion on how people should enjoy the song/video for what it is. I said nothing about you not being able to read or anything derogatory like that. So, maybe you should have some of my pills to calm yourself down lol. Take care.
very nice video, i enjoy it very much. thanks for sharing. and i like the voice.

Technically, it's a very good remake. The woman singer could definitely show more feeling in the song though.
Seems like they're rushing through the song without much feeling.

I think Kassas did Dust in the wind well before 1978. I think there's live footage from 1974 or before on youtube. Nice rendition.

The bottled water on the floor tells me that
this could not be 1972.

Its just a cover song from some people in canada

Kansas didn't do Dust in the wind until 1978.
I do know that there was a band called Kansas
in the Manhattan area before the Kansas that
we all know. I wonder if this is them.

This seems more recent
