This is the saddest episode of home and away EVER! I just have to say, Martha's reaction was soo perfect! The way she holds her hand over her stomac and her knees are failing and her face... I've seen alot of movies when someone die, and the reaction to someone close to them, is just awful, but this, this is a really good reaction to something that you can't even imagine how big of a schock and how awful it is!

I can't stop crying! Not Jack! He was my favourite caracter :( I don't see why everyone has to die instead of just moving away or something if they have to quit. I can't feel so sorry about Martha as many of you fo. I mean, yeah - her husband died it's sad, but they never actually were a great couple, they had always something going wrong and most of the time because Martha kept screwing up. And I could leave that behind if she wasnt' so unthoughtful towards Tony. Yeah, Jack was the love of his life, who she had loved for 4 years, but Tony had loved him all his life and Martha just keeps on bitching "I don't want company"

when Martha says "i love you Jack, more then you ever new" i begin thinking about the old days, like the first time Martha met Jack, when everyone was there, and everything was great.

After all of the comments about witness protection etc, you'd think the scriptwriters thought the H&A audience was thick as pigsh*t. Why bother doing the same intense storyline twice? It sucked with Peter came back and would just be comedic if Jack was to magically reappear.

Basically, Jack's in witness protection just like Peter went to witness protection after Jack and Martha's first wedding.

He's left for a holiday in L.A. with Cassie(Sharni) and some other friends.

He went on January and he'll be back in April I think.

Can't wait or April to come...

But if Jack did leave Home and Away I would stop watching it, because I only started to watch Home and Away after he came to it...

Jack and Martha were always my favourite couple and still are!!!

THe whole Jack and Martha thing was nauseating to me. They wre a terrible couple and I've always thought Jack was far too good for Martha (always hated her). While I'm breathing a big sigh of relief that the "Jack and Martha 4 eva" monstrosity has come to an end, I don't want Martha with Roman either, not after the last time the way she treated him. Roman is a really nice guy who deserves a good woman.

You're kidding, aren't you? Colleen is basically a good person at heart (and I so miss her with Max) whilst most of Martha's problems and tragedy were brought on by herself. Right from when she cheated on her husband Jack with his best mate, whilst her own husband was paralysed in hospital! Absolutely unforgiveable of her. Then the pole-dancing, using Roman, etc etc. She brought all her troubles on herself, and unfortunately, on other innocent people. It should have been Martha, not Jack.

How would they explain the body? Blood? ECG? Body again in hospital? Surely Martha would have noticed if his body was still warm if she spent the night with him?

If they were going to go with a wit protection angle I'd say they'd have put him in the fire or some such way where his body could only be identified by medical records or something like that.
