I wouldnt say he's owning Mayo. Mayo is going to be something special in his prime. Rose will be as well, Beasley is really a question mark at this point. He can put it together if he keeps his head on.
@Illmatic662 c'mon man, that's just a stupid thing to say. OJ Mayo is a great player, no doubt. But OJ is nowhere near Derrick. Derrick rose is 6'3 & has a 48-inch vertical. They don't compare him to Isaiah for nothing.
Besides, his will to win is already legendary. Absolutely dominated everything in HS, took his team to the NCAA Championship in his rookie year of college, helmed one of the best playoff runs in NBA history vs. the Celtics in his rookie year
@ConiferTreez 48" vertical? I do not believe that, lol no way. You sure you dont mean 38"?
Isiah? Chris Paul is more like Isiah then anyone else. Also, you are making it seem that I said he was better then Rose whereas I never said that. I said OJ will be something special, and he will had he not been injured in university he would have taken USC far.
@ConiferTreez I just checked, everything I found on Google pointed to 40" to 41" vertical.
Also, there is no way your are trying to say that Derrick Rose is better then Chris paul are you?! Maybe he has the potential to be better, but no way in HELL right now. Dude, Chris paul averaged 23-11-5.5 That is frigging nuts for someone his size. The truth is he is the most pure point guard in the NBA ...FACT
@Illmatic662 Sure, after this summer he will be much better than Chris. Derrick's been in LA all summer perfecting his 3-point game & lifting weights with Kobe. Derrick Rose has a 48" vertical, that's a fact. Look harder.
Chris is also 4 years older than Derrick, by the way. Derrick will dwarf Chris's numbers when he's 25, you can believe that.
@ConiferTreez Chris wont reach his prime until he's between 27-30 same thing with Derrick Rose. Paul's stats are only going to go higher and higher. If he really does decide to join the kicks with amare and carmelo (IF that ever happens) He will have the best stats of any point guard probably ever. I'm not taking away anything from Rose, Sky is the limit for him, but as it stands now Paul is a one of a kind talent (for PG).
sweet, that's why I love basketball . I just recently got my vertical jump to 50 inches. Guess who can dunk now? =) took me a bit over a month but it was easy with some help from - snipurl[dot]com/nbatraining
wow wut a dunk. I honestly thought Derrick Rose was overrated comin' into tha draft. I can't quite say that he proved me wrong however he's had a good 1st couple of games so far. And u can't tell by lookin' at him that he has like a 39inch vert but damn this dunk waz crazy, and on Barbosa 2. Nice dunk.
I know, i think everybody expected OJ Mayo or Beasley to be the "Star Rookie" but D Rose has been owning those two. hes averaging like 20ppg and about 7 apg!
Yeah OJ Mayo ain't doin' to bad and Beasley ain't either however Derrick Rose has a bigger role to play 4 tha Bulls cuz Rudy Gay is tha leader of the Grizzlies and Wade is tha leader 4 tha Heat so their just role players right now but Derrick Rose is kinda expected to be tha leader of tha Bulls and I gotta say so far he's done a pretty good job.
Man this dued is in the nba killing mother fuckers who have been playing in the nba for more then 10 years

@Illmatic662 Yes, a 48" vert. I am from Chicago, that is a well-known fact. Look it up if you want.
Mentioning Chris Paul in the same sentence as Isaiah is blasphemy.

@Illmatic662 and took his team to the playoffs by himself this year & single-handedly competed against the Cavs (along with Joakim to an extent).

I am starting to question Michael Beasley's commitment to the game for the Miami Heat. I just feel that... he is too lay back sometimes.
OJ Mayo has been phenomenon as a combo guard right now and Derrick Rose is a point guard of the future.
