I'm no apple fanboy, but to be honest, i dont see the appeal of this device. It seems to be neither a recreational or functional system. I have the Ipad 2 and the Sony tablet S, and the ipad is purely recreational - in my eyes- and the Sony (as it is Android) can be both as it has playstation/ all the usual apps, as well as the ability to word process etc.

The reason MS havent had as much success with tablets is their approach to them as if it were any other computer, they barely understand widgets, apps, etc. and those were intended for designers and such, not a mass consumption device.

Look at X360, they GET their market. Put that team in charge of a tablet OS.

This merely goes as far as a media player, hopefully MS can learn from others and create something better than the competition.

This looks very nice, possibly better then the Apple iPad, but remember, this runs on an OS similar to Windows, where the iPad has a unique iOS like none-other.

Therefore I will stick with Apple. Also, if you all remembered, MOST tablet devices are copies of the iPad, which was the original.
