Animals in captivity for the pleasure of animals....you can hear the sickly ramble in the background whilst these animals pace - let them free you sick mtfs.
The zoo made me very sad. Animals should be seen in their natural habitat. Great work capturing the bathing nymph in the wild on camera. That made my day;)
that gorrila did not look happy.. i think monkeys are a little to smart to keep in capt.. hes probably thinking of his future and where he went wrong in life.. lol
I've never really understood zoo's. We trap these animals to live in tiny areas for the rest of their lives, for what? To educate people on them? Wouldn't videos, demonstrations, talks be almost effective without ruining so many animal's lives. (how many zoos in the world?) Or is it truly just for entertainment?
Only SD Zoo did I not feel too depressed for the animals.
@BlueHen123 Very simple. It is because we are, by nature, selfish. It is how we survive, feed our own over others and conserve nature. We do it because we love it. We love it soo much we need it for ourselves. And in the case of these animals, we want to be soo safely close to them at our disposal that we justify taking one or two out of the group. It is beautiful, and sad. Much like life.
Dear god just listening to all those people makes me almost have a panic attack... I wish I had a nice zoo like that in my area... even though I can't go to such public places.. T_T I miss being normal. Lovely video regardless.
Elephants have funeral rituals, graveyards, etc. Which is generally regarded as the beginning of civilisations in humans in the archaeological record haha.
Good to have you back! And thank you, thank you, thank you for this fantastic video. I just might make a trip to the biggest zoo in my country this summer because of this!
I'm sorry. I do not like zoo's. One may say that several species are still alive thanks to them. But I think that an animal reserve would be much better (what I mean is a safe place where endangered species can live that are much more spacious than a zoo).
man im sorry but this stuff makes me sad, i think those animals look sad and bored, id rather see stuffed animals in a museum, as they cant feel, not so much the fish and shit but the mammals, i just dont feel right about it.
@tersse Unfortunately some of those species don't have a safe enough habitat to survive otherwise (unless in an animal park, zoo, or special reserve). And Yes....it is all our faults :/
@Yuri92001 There is no such thing as a 'safe' natural habitatat. Nature is brutal, a constant, merciless, and ultimately pointless struggle for food, mates, and dominance. Those zoo animals have it easy compared to the ones in the wild. A constant supply of food, shelter, medical care... things that don't exist in the wild. Also, don't forget that extinction is the default fate for all species. Animals are fucked unless we use our technologies to save them.
@Yuri92001 Just putting things into the proper perspective. Whatever man may have done to animals is nothing compared to what nature routinely does to them. Their lives are short and miserable, and getting shot by a hunter or poacher is usually a lot more humane than the 'natural' alternatives (starvation, being eaten alive, dying slowly of infection etc.)
@Parapon3ra I.........really am not really trying to "push" any point about our role in nature or about zoos or anything. But I will say this: Nature doesn't have volition....nature isn't cruel, mean, or unfair NOR humane or inhumane. Nature is just nature.
Yummy. She's dreamy.
