Wow! I was looking for tips on how to make this exact costume since I want to recreate it for comiccon :) Thanks for the upload! It helped a great deal!
Wow! I did so much research on this costume, read her descriptions on a costume forum on how she made it, and looked at all the pictures of the process I could find on the internet. But until now, I had no idea it was the same girl who was the steampunk fairy! *dies of geekdom*
Thanks so much for doing this -- in all the years I've attended Dragon Con, I've yet to see a costume that even comes close to Genevieve's "Blink" Angel, and I doubt I ever will. It's too bad you didn't have any live video of her moving in and out of her poses -- it was breathtaking when she did it. I could have done without the Dr. Who clips in your video, but it was, nonetheless, a great piece of work on a great artist.
This is amazing. As is the picture at 7:26 of Sirius Black and the angel.

Thanks to The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone: "Anything that contains an image of an Angel IS an Angel." Oh great. That costume is an Angel itself!

I had heard Jewel got a photo with her, but this was my first time seeing it. :)
I remember walking by her at the con and doing a double take and then backing away with my friends, not blinking out of instinct from watching Blink.

@1thru38 She only moved when no one was looking at her, so of course there are no pictures.
