Doesn't anyone think that some of the music off warriors gate was a bit like music off thunderbirds, and the e space universe sound sounded a bit thunderbirdy aswell
@milllybob Except that according to Big Finish, Romana returned to Gallifrey after an unknown amount of time in E-Space, and went on to become the President of Gallifrey... though it's also been implied (again by Big Finish) that she may have survived the war somehow.
@DefconWarningSystem I accept Big Finish as canon, personally. The chronology is sometimes a bit hard to resolve, but I find that it really enriches the understanding of the characters and the storytelling is always so superb...
Ah, this is so sad. Poor Doctor. How could she live him like that? I never would... If only he'd show up and ask me to 'travel through space and time' with him. I know what my answer would be. Especially if it was Baker. Or Pertwee.
@PrincexJoker I agree with you there also. I know poor Doctor. You know how she leave him like that also. Same as me I never leave the Doctor and ask me the samething like " Amy Bates, would you like to travel with me also". I said sure I would like to travel with all the Doctors. And take my note pad and I will write all the places I've been too. And take some pictures with all the Doctors with me. And say to those creatures I've seen all the Doctors wins. By the way my name is Amy Bates
@klbates Heh. Exactly. Anyone who turns down the Doctor can't be very cool... Well, except Romana, I guess, but we all know she was making a mistake. The Doctor is the greatest.
@NicxCoay Missing the point somewhat, though. The Time Lords want her back. It's not a choice between staying in E Space and staying with the Doctor. It's a choice between staying in E Space and being her own person or going back to a life of eternal boredom on Gallifrey. ;)
@codyw1 No, I get that. But I think she could have stayed if she really wanted. I mean, the Master and the Rani have been uncatchsble for centuries. If she really wanted to stay and the Doctor really wanted her to, I think they could have managed it. The Time Lords don't seem to be very good at catching Rogues.
@PrincexJoker Yeah, but when it came down to it, Romana had the choice between staying in E-Space and doing some good with her life, or staying with the Doctor for a few more days before the Time Lords took her away and back to Gallifrey anyway, where she would do nothing but be Braxiatel's political pawn once again (which ended up happening anyway, later, but she tried). Frankly, as horribly sad as it was, I think she made the right choice.
This story was so surreal. I want to watch it again! :)

JNT did a good job of giving Tom Baker a gay make over. He looks like a tranny in that outfit.

@LaraElSupergirl Big Finish isn't real. If it didn't happen on T.V., it didn't happen

@LaraElSupergirl The white lady perhaps?
Knight121198 1 year ago
@Knight121198 I doubt it. I, personally, think that the White Lady was probably Susan. My money is on Idris to turn out to be Romana.

I liked Lalla Ward but whenever someone uses the phrase 'Time Lady' I always think of Mary Tamm.
