Huh, funny. I go to a church that speaks about emerging and we don't believe any of the things this little hottie speaks about. The emergent church is not alarming - you alarmists are alarming. Test the spirit - if Jesus is not Lord, then beware. The author says this is a new way of thinking. So, should we go back 2,000 years and think like them - would that make him happy?

The spirit of the Emergent church has been tested against Scripture and found alarming. And yes, truth is truth, what they believed and taught 2,000 years ago still applies today. If it has changed, then we're all in trouble.

Oprah Winfrey belongs to the emergent church. She wrongfully believes that there are many paths to God. She believes that there is no such thing as sin. Jesus Christ said: I am the Way the tTth and the Life, no man comes unto the Father but by Me ( John 14: 6). The emergent is another pathway to the apostate church headed by the anti-christ.

The Christian faith is not based merely on people's opinions or random thoughts, but on historical fact that has been proven true down through the ages.

Yeh, It's Major Heresy that is creeping into ALOT of churches. @Itsmeweelynn Its a unification of the every type of religion all over the world. Sounds great right, to some extent & that's it. The new way of thinking, just like Oprah's (religion/New Age Movement) keeps deceiving her followers. The new way of thinking focus on feelings and imaginations by ways of positive thoughts, not facts. It embraces tolerance whether its religion, people, system, government, etc. But you have to understand, does tolerant liberates the mind of each individual? Not at all
