@hellgun949494 You do not need to read any Kant and you can just dive into Nietzsche. You do need an intro to Kant tho. The best intro to Kant is a book called The Philosophy of Schopenhauer by Brian Magee. Magee worships Kant and Shop and he's a master communicator too, just like Terence. The basics on Kant can be gained by reading Magee, so, sparingly, Kant's dry as dust original writings can be skipped. Its worth reading magee first, then Schop. enjoy the fireworks mate! I hope this helps.

Nietzsche’s Twilight of the Idols reminds me of Terence’s wrap. Also, T's wrap reminds me of Schopenhauer’s The World as Will and Representation: Volume 1 and 2. Volume 2 is a classic collection of mystical writings on weird subjects like Nirvana, the mystical experience of music, the veil of Maya and the unspeakable objects outside of time. Volume 1 has a classic description of death and time. Also, Karma Kola is a satirical masterpiece on India that echoes Terence. I hope this helps..

Terence is covering one part of the life triangle. The other 2 parts are book learning and finding a teacher. So step 1 is Immediete Experience, step 2 is Read Smart Books, to absorb info and step 3 is find a great Guru.So we need a balance of immediate experience, book learning and learning from a great teacher. So if you’re taking Terence’s advice then he’s your guru and that’s two angles covered. Now you must read loads of books like Terence did. Terence, you seen, was heavily into reading.

@godno1god those are good insights thanks for sharing. I personally find it reassuring that Terence changed some of his ideas during the course of his life. It shows that he was able to transcend his idea and make them evolve. Reading is still one of the greatest way to get insight and informations, we also have access to incredible amount of information via internet, youtube etc. We just have to be careful what source we're looking at.

@godno1god I agree with 1 and 2 (which doesnt always have to be by books) but we dont need a great guru or leader. they're just part of the thinking progress of 1 and 2. I see it like 1: experience, 2: think, 3: share with others like they do with u. argument and reason. well in anyway, I hope we will stop this culture from freezing and I hope people will start with changing the education systems. children are the future and will manage things we have no clue off. we have to let our mind envolve

@punkunite123 hi friend . By 3, i didn't mean a guru or a leader. I just meant a very clever person who knows more. Like Albert Einstein, or William Shakespeare and Mozart etc.. If you bumped into one of those smart guys, it would be a good idea to get their opinion on things, to pick there brains as it where. Its better to share with others, I agree, but my point is that there are people more clever than us. The problem is finding these people without meeting conmen. I hope this helps.

@godno1god your right but its not only about reading and finding a teacher, because you could do that and take what they say as absolute truth, you gotta be able to sift through the information, form your own opinion based on what you know but dont take it all as absolute concrete truth, just deal with what you know. the guru may not know it all, neither will the book, realistically no one is a know it all, just deal with whats happening now and ull live ur life properly

Terence contradicts himself. He says I should learn stuff for myself because nobody is smarter than I. So I liberate myself from unconformable rumour, only for someone else to come along and say that I don’t know what I’m talking about and they are liberating themselves from my unconformable rumours! If the other guys direct experience is truer than my direct experience, then how are we to get on? This is an amazing video by the way and Terence is still the Man. Just remember not to believe!
