i have never played airsoft but looks really fun. One question: do bouncing off bbs count for hits? If so it would be enough to spray the top of shrubs to have a fair chance of hitting someone hiding in them. That would be very unrealistic though.

@ssj4m No, you need to just play paintball, you'll build alot more adrenaline in that sport. Trust me, in some cases you don't want to get hit by a paintball. Going the exact same speed as an airsoft gun, just ALOT bigger lol

I luv paintball and airsoft. However paintball is getting very expensive now adays. Paying for the rounds, gas canister, and maintanence of the paintball is too much. Airsoft is much cheaper and still adds in a bit of fun and less painful.

they range everywhere from 20 to 1200 dollars. if i was you i would just start by getting a gas uzi, mac11, or mp5. guns like that range from 100 to 200 dollars and are fun to shoot bc they have a high fire and are sort of loud considering they run on propane

@chonglounge bring more than one or get a lipo which can hold a charge very long. I play 6 hour games and i go through an 3000 mah 9.6 and then i just use a 1600 mah 9.6 which will be an emergency battery. hope this helps!

@Old1776Glory depends on ur fps and what ur doing. snipers have more fps 500 to 600 even more depending on how far they wana be long distance. The normal .22 Long Rifle is a 40-grain lead bullet at 1255 fps. any one using 1000 fps is fuckin dangerous, dont play with them if they are not going to be rediculsy far from the combat zone, i know what it feels like to be shit with 1000fps it hurts and will break skin at close ranges u may have to dig it out. enjoy

@obeseotters mesh goggles are proven to work. However, if you decide to use them it's up to you. Some people might never had any problems, but I care about my eyes.

There is a chance of the BB getting chipped. They say it doesn't chip but I've seen the white marks on the mesh.

Also, if you ever play in a field that only allows biodegradable BBs take into account that those will chip a bit easier than regular ones. I know I'll get a lot of angry replies, but it's just my opinion. Go Goggles!
