You are comparing apples and oranges! The Tea Parties protests and ideas behind those protests are much different than the protests and the ideas behind those protests in Iran. What the people in Iran are trying to achieve, Americans achieved it in the US 233 years ago. And it wasn't a "fake" independence either.

Right now what they are protesting are not even comparable to what Iranians are protesting, which is for basic human rights! It is gravely important to distinguish between these two.
