My hair is naturally curly. I have to use products with less fillers, alcohol, parabens, sulfates etc...or my hair would be as dry as straw. I think women with straight hair can get away with drugstore hair products b/c their hair produces more oil.

Grocery store hair products have a lot of fillers and are not good for your hair such as silicon which coat your hair and create build up over time....BUT! i do like samy shampoo and conditioner...contradicting i know but....btw im a hair stylist and if ur ever in az id totally hook u up! lol

Another suggestion is having the discount card @ Sally's beauty supply store. If you like high end salon products. Sally's actually carry the GENERIC brand for less, and you also get a discount with the card. I think they are as good as the Name Brand =). That's where I buy my hair products.
