  • Hey man I order this stuff for my 07 gsxr 1000 I just wanna know if u can give me some tips on setting it up and installing it cuz its not working very well for me.

  • Where do you get this kit from

  • Do you have any trouble with police because of the blue lights? Blue and red lights are illegal in many states.

  • @Blaylock1988 they are illegal but most don't really bother me. i got pulled over once and they just told me to keep them off but they really liked them and even asked how i hook them up.

  • nice

  • Can you explain how you connected everything and what parts you used please?

  • @DocSwoops there is a manual on the website where i got the kit from metricfats

  • I'm getting this installed on my kawasaki 636, but green! I'll have the green tron bike!

  • Can u do a install video

  • @drbsr27 can't, I did this a while ago but motolegion a few comments down just installed his recently, maybe he documented the installation. You should ask him. Sorry

  • Awesome job! Could you post a "how to" or a parts list to make this? That is an amazing project!

  • derezzed!!! derezzed!!!! derezzed!!!

  • how mant batteries do they take/what kind and how long do they stay lit up for?? i wanna do red ones on my k6

  • @bryanmallonee1 it uses the bikes battery so they stay lit for as long as I want them too. It's not the crappy kit where you stick batteries in you wheel.

  • would it be possible to put these on offroad bikes or an atv/quad/4wheeler

  • I have found a really good remote controller that is 5 channels

it can control seperately RGB lights as well as a seperate channel for white and warm white

this means on my bike for example I will have white wheel lights and red around my engine all controlled by same controller

while the white is stationary I can havethe red fade in and out for example

  • ich würde gerne wissen wie es genau funktioniert, hast du auch ein video von der installation?

  • dear friend, as you did to install? where you bought the lights?

  • I ride a k7 gsxr, I love your lights!! I'm a female pretty knowledgeable when it comes to bikes, is it something you think I can do? And if so how do you do it?

  • @Angelfon4152 if you have any common sense in working on bikes and basic wiring than this is very easy to do. you just have to buy the kit from metricfats. wheel lighting kit. i didn't buy the remote box from them though, i got that from oznium.

  • Hey bro - have you considered using 8mm EL wire around the full diameter each side of the wheel - I am looking into it -

  • Hey bro - have you considered using 3mm EL wire around the full diamter each side of the wheel - I am looking into it -

  • i saw your photo spread of this on gixxer forum, i live in central fl too....where did you buy the power puck? i could only find it for $250 from raw designs, mad props on the lightcycle look! i might have to steal your idea!

  • @cfisette429 i bought it from raw designs but it was during a holiday special :)

  • @isanchez20 where did you run the wires along the rim? just up the spokes to the puck?

  • @cfisette429 the power wires were run on the inside of the rim. they are hollow and your supposed to drill a small hole in the rim where the puc goes so that you can put the cables into the rim.

  • cool!!!

  • i like what you done to your rims, you mind send me a msg of where you get all the stuff and how you set it up bro.

  • I think Isanchez has a closer match to the tron wheels than you do ( not to say your stuff is bad ) - in tron its a light circle around the external diamter of the rim and very little light on the inside of the wheel . The way you have done it makes the wheel look like a solid disk of light where as this way its more a ring of light

depends what you prefer- personally I like the "ring" of light rather than the "disk" of light

Sanchez do you have still pics of led placement

  • @motolegion i do have stillz but you can see how the leds are placed at the end of the video. :)

  • @isanchez20

yep caught that at the end - thanks champ

  • @motolegion and i like the ring look better too, i've seen other bikes with lighted wheels but most have the disc look.

  • @isanchez20

agreed - you have done well mate - the ring look is much closer to the lightcycle than the disk look

  • very nice dude. Where did you buy the LED's from? I'm looking to get some for my Gixxer as well

  • COOL VIDEO BUT THE MUSIC IS LAME LMAO!!! N THE INTRO WAS PRETTY GAY COOL LEDS

  • @gtwizzflyryda thanks lol

  • @gtwizzflyryda didnt know that your were a youtube video critic...

  • Nice - How did you get the wheels to blink independently. I have the Custom Dynamics, Black Magic remote kit.

  • @jzzb03 wireless remote from oznium.com my bike is on their website

  • These are legal in Florida if they are not RED or BLUE.....Emergency lights. They can not strobe as well.....If they are red or blue, you can get a ticket, but most cops don't bother because 1) you will most likely run, 2) its a waste of their time to write the ticket.

  • from which website did u buy it? whats the brand name?

    awesome lights dude.........

  • How do these work? Like what is the power source?

  • @TheWinslow89 they are powered by the bikes battery. the connection from the stationary parts of the bike and the wheels are made with a device called a power puc.

  • @TheWinslow89 powered by the bikes battery, connection is made with a device called a power puc from raw designs.

  • Dude...thats looks FUKKIN killer! I so wanna do that to my bike ASAP. When you did it yourself, did you record it so you can throw an instructional video up of the installation process?

  • @rijo44 i didn't record it since it was my first time installing this system and i wasn't exactly sure on all the steps. if i do another i will definitely record it!

  • Is this illegeal in the united states?

  • @StayOLDSchool i think if they are flashing they are illegal but i ride with them on past police all the time and they don't stop me.

  • The best lightcycle on youtube! The leds are just on the edge of the rim instead of illuminating whole wheel! Looks perfect! Did you DIY it or bought the expensive Raw Design kit? What's the power source?

  • @cog1 thanks, all the lighted wheels i've seen are covered in leds which in my opinion is way too much. just on the inner lip make for a clean look. but i did use the raw design kit during their christmas special so everything was half off. and i got the wireless remote from oznium cause it was less than half of what raw design charges for theirs.

  • Awesome.

  • Your machine looks great, be carefull when driving .

1 little advice, the rim arms aré great to install leds, if you have time install'em diagonal, the effect you get Is closer to the tron bike you want. Check mines, the r6 , cbr and suzuki in my vídeos have leds that way. Give it a try .

Excellent Job . "Keep Your love on two wheels"
