Damnit from the outside that looked exactly like my own jap import with a 1jz I had it painted in MG trophy blue with 19's , just had hybrid turbos stuck in and my twattin brother in law stepped the ass end out and rolled it over a high kerb !!!!

its all in the name 3 litre is sc300. sc300 gt was a turbo option and a sc 400 is more ecconomical .the turbo 6 needs oil change more often

@KidWithSomeWeights yes you have been confused, as stated in my post, SC300 is the JZ and SC400 is the UZ so yes the SC400 does not come with a JZ motor.

The Toyota Soarer however comes with a choice of 3 motors, 1JZ, 2JZ or 1UZ.

actually stock it comes with a 1jz, and the V8's have alot more in it then the 6's, i do admit the 1jz's are quite a spectacular car, but the V8's were not influenced by the americans as the V8 soarer was not exported to america hence all the touch screens are only in japanese unless you have them converted

Well, Import tuner is an American magazine, and the car is LHD, so it's a car made for America, so it came with a 2JZ-GE, because no car made for the American market came with a 1J from the factory.

They cheap to work now. I dont want a soarer. I'm getting an aristo (GS430) throwing the big ole V8 out and putting a 2JZE with a big single turbo and a 6spd ;)! I love the sedan over the coupe haha my favorite car in the world :D! In my opinion SC > Supra

it cost twice that to make it work.... engine and tranny alone is only half of what you need... wiring harness, bits and pieces will cost alot when you add everything up. 3500 is a hackjob if you think that is all it takes.
