Notice how before it says "i create evil," it says "i make peace." Opposite of peace is disaster.

The problem of suffering is a hard question to answer. There are a few different biblical responses. Please search the Bible for those answers. It is there, the Bible does not ignore suffering. Actually, it discusses it alot. So please read what the Bible says on it, maybe check out some preachers (John Piper is good, I would NOT suggest Kirk Cameron/Ray Comfort haha).
Because we are sinners, God would be just if he killed every person on the earth right now. But it is also clear God is merciful because of common grace (he allows sinners to live at least a short life on earth) and eternal salvation through Jesus. God can be merciful AND just, because when the world passes he will make everything right.

You have to look at the context, you have a KJV bible. When Isaiah says God creates evil, it means he creates disaster in certain areas to punish the wicked. Notice how before it says "i create evil," it says "i make peace." Opposite of peace is disaster.

The problem of suffering is a hard question to answer. There are a few different biblical responses. Please search the Bible for those answers. It is there, the Bible does not ignore suffering. Actually, it discusses it alot. So please read what the Bible says on it, maybe check out some preachers (John Piper is good, I would NOT suggest Kirk Cameron/Ray Comfort haha).

Because we are sinners, God would be just if he killed every person on the earth right now. But it is also clear God is merciful because of common grace (he allows sinners to live at least a short life on earth) and eternal salvation through Jesus. God can be merciful AND just, because when the world passes he will make everything right.

I try to help others when I can (and often when I am unable ,I still try) , I try to look out for my fellow man when the opportunity presents. I am by no means perfect , and do not mean to imply that I am. However I don't do this for eternal reward , nor to avoid eternal punishment. If a person needs to have this for incentive , I question their morality.

Also, most people who know anything about cancer know how to reverse it these days and most degenerative American diseases. Ray cited the wonders of the human body (eyes, nose, etc) and said "Look how great these are! This is evidence of God". The lady said "What about cancer?", suggesting if the good parts are evidence of God, then the bad parts are evidence of no-God.

The word "slave" is used in two different contexts within the Old Testament. The Egyptian/American context, which God detests, and the standard codified in the Law which I remember being like an indentured servant unless that individual chooses to remain so.
So your charge of the Bible being subjective and changing is baseless. You need to pick up a Bible, and study it yourself to avoid being duped into hellfire.
The Bible reflects the character of God. God is love, truth, and justice.

God does not punish people in hell for lack of information. He punishes them because they are liars, fornicators, blasphemers who deserve it. God is a good judge who must punish sin. No one goes to hell that does not deserve it. We all have consciences which bear witness to our sins.

for you to say he is perfect it means he must have perfectly created flawed things. like why do whales carry genes for making legs and arms, and why do chickens have genes for making teeth and humans to make tails and the list goes on and on. why did he just add these? for no reason? evolution dosnt try and disprove god. maybe a 2000 year old book isnt 100% accurate. maybe it was meant to help those 2000 years ago. a book on how to use an ipod wont do anyone good 2000 years from now.

In the beginning, God made all things very good, until man sinned, and NOW all creation is under a curse with disease and death. God allowed this, and now we are flawed, and die.
Evolution does try and disprove God. It contradicts the testimony of Genesis in a ton of ways. Go to "answers in genesis".
The Bible is accurate and up to date. I don't get paid to tell you this, but when you accept you are a monkey descendant, who has no value, then you are more likely to sin, and be controlled.

why cant christians accept that the bible isnt to be taken 100% literally. so why cant the earth be explained to a 2000year old person in layman terms. there wasnt a name for what happened back then. so it was explained in gods words. dosnt mean that is how he did it. he hasnt explained when he created DNA or parasites or cancer but we know that all exists. you cant explain thermodynamics to a kindergartner and expect understanding. if it is all literal stone bad kids, and kick women out of town

The more I grow as a Christian, the more I take the Bible literally. It is life at it's best, DESPITE people thinking you are stupid and brainless. It is freedom to live as God meant you to: Bold, Happy, Loving, Wise, and Strong.
Google "Science and the Bible". The Bible was written between 1900 and 2900 years ago, and it makes scientifically accurate statements.

Scientifically there is NO proof that the ANY of the stories in the bible are accurate. Your talking about christian scientist, if you can call them that, making claims that no peer reviewed sources have stated are accurate. Scientific Method requires evidence to be replicated over and again to prove that the results are accurate. Which the 2000+ year old book cannot reproduce. And the books which you are talking about , ie the dead sea scrolls, were found just under 200 or so years ago.

They found the ruins for Jericho. Normally, when an ancient city is conquered, the walls get pushed IN from the outside. Guess which way they found Jericho? The walls fell OUTWARD, just like it says in the Bible.
Sir William Ramsay went on an archaeological expedition for the New Testament churches, and he found a bunch of them. He then became a Christian. You need to read Josh McDowell's books. They show how archaeology corroborates what the Bible reports, which helps you believe.

really well it shouldnt be to hard to show evidence of this fallen city. where is that evidence? you need to stop misquoting Stephen hawking who supports evolution 100% seeing as how he STILL gives lectures about it. one of which i attended about 8 months ago. Explain why they didnt find record of 20,000 slaves. just because the bible makes claims of 2 people and even a city. it dosnt mean anything. greek mythology has more accurate descriptions of these events and places then the bible.

going back to "you see a painting you know its a painter" well your comparing inanimate objects to life. if i shoot that car with a .50caliber bullet i can still get in and drive it. if i shoot you with the same type of bullet you wont be doing ANYTHING. pretty much no matter where i hit you. that painting isnt going anywhere by itself. and it wont change itself. like i said you can contact and meet with these creators. but not with god? so you cant PROVE they were created by them. cant with god

but it took millions of years. if a child draws stick figures and Michelangelo painted the Sistine chapel is that proof of a more powerful creator? so since some animals are far more complex then some bacteria does that mean god was shitty sometimes and not others? why did he create the MASSIVE universe which there is no need for. and give genes to animals that DONT need them. he must be a very flawed god. watch the video link. more complex dosnt explain a creator.

and in those 200 or so year ago they were placed into what we call the bible by men, men who are able to lie, cheat, manipulate others into what THEY thought was moral and just, so it is THOSE men hundreds of years ago that decided what YOU would learn in the books of the "almighty god". so those men chose what your god was teaching you. so if flawed men can choose what you believe how can you say its the word of god, when all the books of this "bible" are chosen by flawed men.

The Bible is divine. Just Google "stephen hawking universe implodes" and read the first article. Thus, since God wrote the Bible, he can defend the Bible from corruption like he claims in Psalms 12:6.
The books that are excluded from the Bible are those that contradict themselves, archaeology, and claim to be written in one century, and use the language and script form of another.

When people of history quote some book from the Bible, and we know when that person lived, we know that the quoted book existed then. If a book does not make historical and archaeological blunders, we give that book the benefit of the doubt.
Some used to claim that "King David" was fictional, but they found an inscription speaking of the "House of David". They found a reference to "Joseph" of Genesis, and they even have the signet ring of some Old Testament prophet's assistant. I forget.

God gave man free will correct? God knows all correct? So god knows what your going to do BEFORE you do it. So like a MOVIE lets say star wars. I like that one. Luke Skywalker was going to be a jedi and never knew it. But George Lucas did. Now luke cant to ANYTHING to change his being a jedi. so does luke have free will? or could george lucas rewrite it. but he still knows what is going to happen to luke. so what luke does is set in stone. the illusion of free will is the problem with a god.
