  • i only use a glove if window is very large with large fingers. once i heat shrink, i pull half of it back wet (with soapy water) and use hard card to squeege again and heat shrink with hard card to get all the fingers out, and avoid small fingers on defrosters. also turn on defroster while you mold film. then install film. once you have film on inside, turn off defroster. it helps , especially on those tough cars. i do it all the time now. save me time on finishing job.

  • looks easy but very hard can it be done without heat shrinking?

  • I can do this. With some practice.. im sure! :)

  • im new at this but isnt the tinting done inside the car back window rather than outisde?

  • Right on! I like the glove technique instead of the card!!

  • is heat shrinking necessary ??

  • say man can you tell me why when i did this the edges od the film didnt want to stick to the window when i was done with everything? does that have something to do with me over heating the thing or what??

  • a hair dryer does work altho it takes a hell of alot longer

  • Man... you made it look so easy. I tried this myself and the tint didn't want to wrinkle with the heatgun.

  • Why do you have to heatshrink the back window? and what do you use just a hair dryer?

  • Yes, I apply it by myself. There is a critical technique to putting it in the back seat without letting it touch anything but the glass. It takes ALOT of practice.

  • you apply the film by yourself? and if you do does it come out dirty?

  • We only use MADICO Film. It is the best on the market and you are guaranteed atleast 7-10 years of excellent performance

  • @technicstint i prefer llumar

  • good job what kind of tint do you use?

  • With 9 out of 10 cars, you do have to heat shrink the back window. Some installers use the relief cut technic, but I don't recommend that........

  • do you have to heat shrink the rear window tint? See i hvae never done a rear window just sides

  • Nice job bro.. your pretty fast on the heat shrink.. what kinda gun are you using? And I couldnt get a good look but why didnt you bring the tint all the way to the top of the rear window?

  • i've heard that the wincos tint has a slight bluish color. is this true? how does it compare to huper optik?

  • Excellent!

  • hey once you finish shrinking the tint. then do you take it off and apply it to the inside?

  • yes.

  • thank you

  • Great job.
