Whe used to jump out of a cessna like that too and I tell you it was a bit hairy at first! You had to open the door and step out with your right leg onto the step above the wheel, and then grab the strut with your right hand. And then do the same with left leg, left arm. Then you would hang off the strut and shimmy out to the end of the strut and hang there until the jumpmaster told you to let go....... Could I do it again now I'm 15 years older? Definately fucken not! lol
