@thomas007 It depends; Muay Boran is a warrior style which is very well rounded just like Jeet Kune Do. But JKD is a form of street fighting and I think Muay Boran's aggressive and violent techniques is enough to cripple or even kill Bruce Lee.
@DaddyWarbucks452 JKD's philospohy is to use the most efficient means necessary to destroy or incompacitate the attacker using economy of motion. You go as far as you need to go. The key is simplicity, yes it at times is geared to be agressive or violent, and other times a simple hook is all it takes. I don't know much about Muay Boran, but I know enough about JKD through training and such that I can say it is as versatile as you allow it to be.

Anyways "Muay Boran" is not a name of a style or system its just a umbrella term for all thai empty handed system before the 20th century with each system teaching different things, some well rounded some not so well rounded. Jeet Kune Do is not a system or style either, its a fighting concept to be adapted to any technique.
