  • U SOUND LIKE M13 LOL

  • @0xxsapxx0 Ha ha! Thanks! I like his videos.

  • Hi agaih Hoobs, When I have a camera outside my helmet on a sucker mount I have a loop of fishing line which passes around the camera and mount and loops around my helmet strap. I was told by "one who knows" that a wind cover with long fluffy fur is best for wind noise, so just tie the nieghbours cat around your camera!! easy. I did a pretty decent vid with a VADO camera fitted inside the chin bar of my full face helmet (Ride to Glendale show from Ellington) or something like that. Good luck

  • @notwocdivad My cat sheds enough fur around the house that I can collect a clump of it from the vacuum cleaner bag and tape it to my camera. The GoPro camera microphone works pretty well at lower speeds when I use the camera case back with holes in it.

  • I've got the same mount for my mountain bike and it's pretty sturdy. I only use a small Canon IXUS 200is which is pretty light and I wrap the camera wrist strap around my cycle light just for security.

Next thing I need to find a fix for is the Wind Noise..

For you bikers there's a great bike video on youtube with hardly any wind noise and you can really hear the engine / exhaust tone.. look up on here at youtube.

"testing out a jvc picsio hd pocket cam on a triumph daytona 650"

    Nut

  • @nutmagnet63 It's definitely a good idea to attach the camera strap to the bike to catch it if it falls. The wind noise is a problem with most video cameras. I've tried putting tape over the microphone and it didn't help. Maybe some sort of sponge covering the microphone would work.

  • hello doggy 1:03

  • Nice crisp and clear video. What kind of camera are you using?

  • @NfldBiker It is a JVC Everio The model number is GZ-HM320BU. I bought it refurbished for around $200. It shoots full 1080P HD video. It's a great little camera. My other videos in HD were also shot with the Everio.

  • v/good.

  • My friend SalaciousShadow from Australia sent me one of those mounts.

I will be trying it out this summer for some two camera videos.

I wish it was made of steel instead of plastic. I am not sure it will hold up

    well on bumpy roads.

  • @suburbanryder I'm worried about that too. If I use it on one of my motorcycles, I'll also tape or bungee the camera to the handlebar to be sure it doesn't fall off.

  • @hoohoohoblin Hi... there are products out there for bikers wanting to securely mount cams on bikes.

For the USA Google "Pashnit Moto Products SportBikeCam mounts"

For the UK / Europe look up seller "cyclemw_2010"

    or search

"Tank Camera GPS Radar Mount Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R" on eBay £19.99 - £20.99 bike specific mounts.

I've seen other tank filler mounts around that are similar to the above in Stainless and anodized aluminum (coloured / colored)

    Nut..

  • interesting! on my cross bar mount I use a piece of rubber hose as an insulator Then tighten the clamps.

  • @navythomas8 That's a great idea for anyone with a dirtbike handlebar with a crossbar bracing. The crossbar will be level with the ground, making for a level shot. I shall try it on my Honda XL500R. Thanks.

  • i am looking to get one for the motorbike so a little bit more expencive as it is a very sturdy one and has mulitple tilt angles but these look awesome (in a british/new york accent lol)

  • @bikevlogfull I have a U.S. Made RAM handlebar camera mount, which is around $40, and I'll make a video review of it one of these days. I tried it on my Harley FXR and it vibrated like crazy, but it wasn't RAM's fault. It was Harley's.

  • i made myself something similar for my bike but it was so jumpy cause i had a mountain bike with off road tires. it made my sick

  • @late95 Before I put it on my bike, it was on my son's bike, the kid in the video, and it was really shaky. Even on my bike with road tires it's a little shaky. To really make it work well, I'll have to invent some kind of heavy shock-absorbing component between the mount and the handlebars.
