Clearly you have a high opinion about yourself. The fact that you assumed that I have that opinion about UofT because of my low marks clearly shows that you lack the ability to comprehend and tend to jump to conclusions.

@chakde26 First let's get one thing straight. I do NOT just go around boasting about my GPA on the internet for the sake of it, it was only in reaction to what you wrote.

Second, if what you said is true, then I suppose it's fair to assume that UofT most assuredly did NOT "destroy you and your dreams".

I'm prepared to concede that the UofT experience isn't for everyone, but your experience is largely what you make of it.

Again, I suggest you stop jumping to conclusions. For some, a university is more than the cGPA one ends up getting at the end. I will also repeat, UofT is indeed full of jerks (students and professors), and if your love for UofT is so great that you can not let a guy criticize it on Youtube, then there is nothing I can do to change that.

but while you're at defending UofT, you might want to look at other places on the internet where a lot of UofT students hold same views about UofT.

@chakde26 I find it hypocritical of you to call me out on jumping to conclusions yet you do the exact same.

As I said before, your experience is what you make of it. I've been here for 5 years so I'm well aware of the jerks that you mention, I've been taught by a few and I've interacted with many others. I simply brush aside these unhappy moments and don't let them ruin my experience. Also, jerks are everywhere, not just UofT, it's a fact of life that you live and deal with.

@chakde26 And just for the record, you didn't exactly "criticize" UofT. Go read your first comment again, it was brainless bashing without reason; I simply followed up with a stylistically parallel knee-jerk response.

Of course I know about those places on the internet. Hell half the topics on Biome were along those lines. The difference is, the discussions were a lot more civilized without the "OMFG UOFT IS EVIL I HATE MY LIFE FML" fanfare thrown in, and I respect that.

I am sorry, I am not ready to move on just yet. UofT sucks and I will try to warn as many students as I can. In fact, I am even more motivated now to do so.

The fact remains that if you are a non-asian and you go to UofT, your life will suck....if you do not believe me, ask around any UofT campus....
