there you have it. an all "traditional AMERICAN' AI 9 finalists. and randy jackson wasted no time io discredit thia megia to influence viewer,s votes ( and maybe manipulate the results? ) to make sure one of his bro. will always be in, the black gay whose facial expression when performing is a pain to watch , as if he is suffering from some kind of paralysis and do nothing in the stage other than a girly screaming. for 3 minutes.
Competition wise, purely from performances & display of strengths, James has done the best. During the two weeks where they really did get to choose their own songs without themes and producers to guide them( or restrict). James did 2 songs that showed his strengths and both just as good as each other. He is not my favourite voice though. Thia's voice is my favourite =). Second favourite is Jacob =) (best song in top24 week + Motown, but not in personal idol week)

NO she should not sing this song in American Idol..this is another boring song for her..It is great but only limited appeal to audiences.. She should sing much younger songs showing personality, power, and movements. She has good vocal range, I believe she can extend and sing different songs outside comfort zone , try a bit of Beyounce, Lady Gaga, Christina A, and Madonna mix with her own style.

All Phillipinos have the copying ability of great artist, the best lounge bands in Las Vegas and other places are Philipine acts they copy bands and artist xlnt!! @Bosingr i think she could not sing songs arranged by other persons, or songs she have already sang to other competitions. just my theory. =)

Thanks David for introducing Thia first - I'm sure the support Thia received this night gave her more confidence to take to AGT & AI. Thia has a great career ahead of her!

THIA/CHARICE: Why do people always compare? Can you not just be happy for both of them? Isn't it enough that BOTH of them tries to ENTERTAIN all of us? Each individual has their own TALENTS and it's a blessing to us coz THEY SHARE IT. We're lucky that WE CAN HEAR, SEE & FEEL these awesome TALENTS that they SHARE to us. Count me in as a fan... Yeah, she's got a voice control.... It's really good to the ears if the pitch is so high yet it wasn't sang by singing loudly to hit the notes...

...by the way, uhmm...you don't have to scream 'n howler your guts out nor hit the high notes all the time to be a great singer. *Thia Megia just simply sings with quality controlled voice, smoothly & effortlessly from the heart. Nothing fancy, but naturally sing with love of music, that all. This is the way to deliver a song to an audience.
