  • This has to be for comedy purposes. If the finger is scanned in 3D,you could MPR(Multi-plane-reconstruction)this thing in any plane at any angle. There would be no need to "position" the patient in that way.You can even do curved ranges now,to follow curved structures. Also,it takes 5min@most to set up most scans, even a finger.Technologist run MRI scanners not doctors.Next, why would you twist and turn an injured body part.If my hip was broken and you did that to me,laughable. This has to be a joke.

  • wow...

  • It takes a doctor *two hours* to bend someone's leg?

  • What they meant was it can take a nurse up to 2 hours of trial and error of positioning the limb. Doctors can be there but its normanly to supervise and/or speak to the patient. Saying that i with mt experiance i think 2 hours is just taking the piss

  • They have to be very careful,as it could be very painful for the patient.

  • imagine how long it would take a person who didn't have the foggiest idea.. ; )

  • What happens if you have metal in your leg and you go in a MRI?

  • it would rip it out of your leg

  • Ow! I thought so though.

  • And I guarantee that the company that made it is going to change a pretty penny for it.
