  • no, they do not have C-4 in them. its a incendiary mix, zirconium powder and rx51-petn, also known as pentaerythritol tetranitrate. also the military does nog get them at $18 bucks a pop, try like .50 cents.

  • lawl its not C4, it's RDX, and there's also a layer of Zirconium Powder that burns.

  • @Dudeman24142 c4 is made from rdx contains 90% rdx plus inert binders

  • MADE IN NORWAY!

  • These can be purchased by civilians, but they are in extremely limited supply and are over 50.00 per round. After watching the below referenced video, the .45 rounds you are referring to are API rounds (armor-piercing incendiary), not explosive rounds. These are often confused with each other. Raufoss rounds have a true explosive (RDX based) core surrounded by a armor penetrator. There is only one true raufoss round which can only be produced by one manufacturer.

  • the rounds in the video are raufoss. look at the tip: it's white and green. secondly, more than one company makes raufoss rounds...under license. you did get one thing right, and that's the price. though, they can be found cheaper. but not much cheaper.

  • omg can civilians own these? ive seen ordinary ppl shooting explosive rounds on youtube (search .45acp exploding)

  • Multipurpose

  • so.. q: whats a secondary explosive during in there? i guess you forgot to include some primary filled into them too?? or what.. looks cool.. and expensive (:

  • @antiswattt2 Raufoss rounds have a small amount of Zircomium powder in the rear of the bullet. On impact this is forced forwards, compresses, detonates and initiates the RDX

  • @Dukeyboy so zircomium is a primary? which will detonate on impact by friction or shock and then initiate the rdx...?

  • @antiswattt2 That is my understanding. Whether it is pure Zirconium or more likely ZPP (Zirconium Potassium Perchlorate) I am not sure. ZPP certainly will act as a primary and although it is sensitive to static electricity and very energetic impact, it is stable enough to be handled in a round designed for battlefield use. ZPP is also known as NASA Standard initiator and is a widely used incendiary composition. Hope this answers your question.

  • Raufoss Rounds

  • NO WAY Cpt. Obvious, nobody knows how to read titles..... LOLOL
