Our Pleo Plays with his own Dinosaur

Ive had my Pleo for 3 years and he's getting worn out and I'm not sure if I should replace him or not. When you traded in Linus, did you miss the new one? Because I'm afraid the new one would not be the same as my dear little Oscar!

He would explore on his own. It took about two weeks after "hatching" before my Pleos really started being independent and exploring away from me. They have a development process which is cute to watch.

grace did you feel bad when you had to trade linus in and when you got linus 2 did it feel weird with him and not linus because i have to trade in my pleo too? his edge detection broke and so did his IR sensor. :(

that stuffed dino is sooo cute. i have a yellow stuffed dino but firebolt (my pleo) doesnt seem to play with it. guess its cuz we dont leave her next to it that often

he amazes me each day. my last robopet was a metal dog and i was amused by him! this technology is wonderful. i would suggest just enjoying what he is and not question what he is not. we are the first to watch them "develop" and blossom :-)

He seems to like things in bright colors that are about his own height or a little smaller. And of course he loves moving objects or animals. Mine is always waddling towards the cat, then nuzzling her if she doesn't run off.

Yes, he continually surprises me! Am trying to include his very "real-like" behaviors in these videos. If you know what a Roomba is and the virtual walls...he lifted one end of a virtual wall off the ground with his nose. Those things are heavy!
