  • Actually I was one of the Babyboomers who thought disco and punk sucked. I had disco fever for a while, and then I had an acidrock flashback, in a dream. One night my mind played old sixties songs that were stuck in my head over the years. Songs like Eight Miles High and Monterey(Animals) were played in a dream. Suddenly I hated disco.

  • BTW: The 50s belonged to a small generation called "The Silent Generation", people who were born in the late 1920s, 30s and up to the end of WWII. They were the little kid brothers and sisters of the legendary Greatest Generation that fought WWII.

The Silents invented Rock and Roll, had icons like Elvis, Marylin Monroe, James Dean. The Booms were just little kids or being born during the 50s.

Yet like Generations X & Y, they get shouted down and talked over by the obnoxious Booms.

  • @Lalo3001 There is a portion of Babyboomers who are also called the Beat Generation. I actually fit in that age, but I don't know what the Beat Generation is, because it is rarely talked about.

  • These selfish mother-fuckers will never, ever grow up. still hogging the lime-light even though the succeeding generations, (X & Y) are asking them to get the fuck off the stage.

  • The most selfish generation to date. I speak as a 40 year old son of hippies and druggies with no respect for anything but themselves. Thank you for ruining this country's economy and leaving my generation holding the debt.

  • @jtnoodle

What about my generation? I'm 18. My generation will have to deal with Climate Change, Peak Oil, overpopulation, food crises and much, much more. I think you're lucky. You and my parents and my grandparents are all lucky. Maybe not my great grandparents, but they had a lucky later life. Even I'm luckier than the generation after me. I'll be 40 in 2032. I think I'd rather be 40 now in 2011 like you. Or even 40 in 1990 like those baby boomers.

  • Fabulous. Job well done!

  • @friedie1jeff Thank you.

  • Did they really,.."grow up"?? Im almost 40, and from where Im standing the Boomers are still overgrown CHILDREN and now they're crying and whining about who's gonna take care of em as they start to retire--dont count on me, you fucking overgrown infants!! I hope the majority of you are left with nothing the same way you've left your children & grandchildren with nothing! Your "generation" has become the VERY THING YOU PEOPLE PROTESTED AGAINST IN THE 60's!!!!!!!

  • @hazor777 Whiner

  • @hazor777 Deal with it bitch

  • @checkmate440 : suck my ass, you fuck

  • @hazor777 mmmmmmmmm love to

  • great work

  • Baby Boomers the generation that started the sexual revaluation and broken home movement! Thanks to them and the introduction of contraceptives, premarital sex is now common place and virginity abhorrent in our society. Abortion is leading to the depopulation of many nations such as Greece, soon our own. Part 2 will likely show the Elderly Boomers being forcibly given in a slow death so that they no longer drain off the state. Ironic they will meet their ends to a beast They created.

  • Yeah and now the Baby Boomers have completely fucked everyone in the ass.

  • Actually I was one of the Baby Boomers who thought disco sucked.

I did have disco fever for awhile, until I has an acid rock flashback.

I faced up to the fact that Scott McKenzie wrote a better song about San Francisco than the Village People.

  • Every parent knows what you get when you overindulge kids.HELLO spoiled brats who destroy everything , take no responsibility and then Ask for MORE stuff ....BABY BOOMERS.

  • Can't wait to see your next video where you show us how the boomers have made it impossible for the following generations to ever live the American dream. But it was cute =).

  • Didnt they just? It's almost sabotage. They were handed a nation in great condition and pass on a shell that's almost impossible to salvage. All because they couldn't be bothered raising kids right and increased the migration intake for cheap labour to boost their retirement investments. God I hate em.

  • Thanks - I have to do the pop culture art for the 80s and other pieces first - the art works are then animated as sections of the videos. You can see the 3 pieces of art that I used for Part One on my website when it's finally uploaded this week in the Pop Culture Art section

  • @PopArtDiva

Simply brilliant! But can I ask you something? Are the only good decades the 1950s 1960s 1970s 1980s 1990s 2000s and 2010s? Because before the 1950s, wasn't life very hard (WW1, WW2, Depression, no toilets, appliances, plumbing etc)

Would you say that a 1920 birth would give you a hard life (20s 30s 40s), a 1950 birth would give you everything, and a 1980 birth you would miss out???

  • Are you playing some video game midis?

    They sound familiar...

  • sorry it took so long to reply, my YouTube notices were being dumped into my spam! It's a midi compilation inspired by tv themes.
