My Shiba Inu was black and tan. One thing that others miss when posting is that the breed is a very aggressive hunter. It was bred in Japan to hunt for anything that moves! And mine carried that trait. That includes other dogs and cats, along with rats, turtles, fish, squirrels, rabbits, birds, and anything else you can imagine. The breed is super loyal to it's owner AND family. A very human friendly dog. But needs to be leashed when out. It cannot rest until it finds another animal to kill!

@unspokenrespect It's a small dog called a Shiba Inu. Obviously tracing its origins to Japan, it was recognized in the AKC (American Kennel Club) in 1992. The recognized colors come in red and tan, Black and tan (Like this vid) or sesame, which is pretty rare, though red and Tan is the most common so black and tan aren't very frequent either. Recent DNA analysis confirms that this is one of the oldest dog breeds, dating back to the 3rd century BC. So Shibas are primitive. Hope this info helps!

Actually dogs are not that intelligent that they would actually smile or squint like that JUST because they like their owner. A sound or a physical agitation aimed at the face might cause that kind of a reaction.

Dogs are not as intelligent as humans, thus they're not even aware that they might smile or what a smile means.

I work at Petsmart as a bather and first off, they aren't allowed to have any type of fan out in the grooming area. Our salon can't even have a vacuum out til after regular store horus. Second off, dogs make tons of facial expressions, i.e if you hurt them their eyes will widen with fear or if you agitate them, their eyes will squint angrily while they bare their fangs.
