  • AWESOME JOB! I ofcourse had to watch the vid a million times cuz im silly like that, BUT thnx for taking time and teaching people like me this song :)

P.S Don't beat yourself up bud!

  • C'mon you are not a blogger! Stop talking and START PLAYING!

  • wats the sturmming pattern

  • time out is your guitar clear?

  • very good video and you sing good

    p.s. subscribed

  • stop beating yourself up, you did fine

  • that wierd chord u showed first was a D...just another D chord

  • yo can you slow down a little im just a beginner i got my guitar yesterday

  • DONT TALK SO MUCH -.- !!!!!!!!

  • is the second chord a Dsus4 ? me thinks it is, however im a beginner so.

  • @jondesbrow no its a d/f

  • ahh, thankyou for the reply.

  • @VeryHarty actualy I think thats a d/f# but in alot of the other tutorials and tabs I saw it was supposed to be a G/F# but this version sounds fine so it doesn't realy matter

  • or am i just doing it wrong

  • is this for acoustic too? i have been trying to learn it but it just doesnt sound right

  • dyyd ur face is well look 2:22

  • sorry. THANK U SOOOO MUCH FOR THE VID!

  • lol. ur so funny

  • Very similar progression to "Swing Swing" by All-American rejects.

Like the broken chords; usually I just end on a slow strum G.

  • Here's the chord's he's playing: EADGBe (Capo 3) Verse: G [320033] Dsus4+F# [200233] Em7 [022033] Dsus4+F# [200233] Chorus: C [x32010] D9** [x54030]** Em [022000] G [320033] D [xx0232] **Note: It's actually like a Ddim9 with a major 3rd (F#) instead of the dimished/minor 3rd (F). Weird chord. but it sounds cool.
  • oh ya, just make sure you remember your capo on 3rd fret... and learn how to put it on right or it will take your strings out of tune. lol

  • what do the parentheses mean

  • the numbers between the "[" and "]" just tell you what fret you should be on (treat the capo as "0")

    [EADGBe]=[000000]

    Top to bottom

    low note to high note

closest string to you to furthest away from you

  • quite possibly the most irritating and/or annoying voice i've ever heard.

  • u like talking dont u

  • Your guitar sounds so out of tune. Learn to put your capo on right or tune the guitar after the capo is on. If you put the capo on the fret wire instead of inbetween, it will not pull the stings out of tune.

  • your a funny person did you know that

  • you can sing , you can play the guitar , and u can never shut your fucking mouth but besides that good job

  • The basic chord progression in the verse / intro is (with a capo) G, Dsuspended4th, Eminor7th, keeping the 3rd and 4th fingers on the e and B throughout.

  • dude... nice vid! i thought this was going to be a lame vid but it was one of the better ones i found. you explainded it pretty good and showed mainley the whole song instead of just one part. love the humor, love the tutoriol, love the vid. just find the name of those notes and you'd be great.

p.s. is that a clear squir, if it is then please tell me where to get one cause that is off the wall cool.

  • wow thnx dude u rlly helped me out

  • umm, i kinda found a different way, but it sounds about the same, and its a lot easier. u just hold C chord and move your pinky finger accordingly. u oughta try it.

  • I like the beginning XD

    Awsome, thanks

  • great,,could i play that without a capo? haha tnx

  • I just got a capo from my brother for my birthday :P Thanks for the vid I am going to try and learn this song for sure!! Its one of my fave's from the Fray so Thanks Again :)

  • hey is that a fender guitar?

  • you're awesome!!

your video is great. i love how it's so detailed. i can now play how to save a life properly :D

    thankss!

    xx

  • I love your humor to it's sooooo cool, and the way you perfect your music instead of just showing what some guy showed you, very niced.

  • DUDE U RULE,

  • ummm ok two things. 1, I play it on guitar because I can't play it on piano but still would like it to sound as close to the actual song as possible. 2, if you want it to be the "guitar" version just strum the chords that I taught you or go look up your own

  • The point of playin it on guitar is so it DOESN't sound like piano.... if you want piano, play it on piano... play guitar... there are guitar versions.. such as the acoustic version... god

  • totaly true..i play both and lol...but it does kinda sound good...although it may disappoint some ppl who really wanted just to play chords so thats its easier but its quite good. :) but try not to chatter too much...dont be like me -.-'

  • can you just start playing...geez. 1:30 till u finally play..

  • haha is there a way to play it without a capo?? im too poor to buy one

  • you dont have to get an expensive one..u could get ones for 3 dollars

  • YOU ROCKS MAN :D I want learn it!. I am not English speaker but i will try to learn iT!

  • 3rd fret is right and I'll make a new video soon to answer the other question

  • where did you put the capo? I guessed the 3rd fret, but i dunno. xD

    great lesson though!

  • Oh,by the way,put the vid under the same name so its easier to find too.THANKS!!!

  • hey, cool vid man.that was sweet.but er,i dont really understand the intro on where to play and which string to play.you mind making another vid about that?sorry for the trouble!

  • no questions. that was great, it helps a lot! tanks

  • cool vid souds great just nead to show the trum a lil slower

    but souds good
